Wow, thanks for the link.
I'm quite impressed with what they're doing over there. And they're re-working the 3rd-Person camera to not suck so bad? (Seriously, did anyone even try the 3rd person view in Oblivion? It was basically unuseable) This is quite welcome news.

Teaser is HERE!
From what I gather, the whole thing is done in-engine, so that's pretty cool. What's uncool is the release date...ugh. Don't they know there might actually be a nuclear apocalypse by then?

So, for most of the show we've been seeing Loop 2, but in that episode we see the results of Loop 1? And Hiro of Loop 1 causes the changes in 2. I get that much. It's just that, if we were seeing 5 years down the line of 1, how can have Sylar regenerate and Claire still be alive. Those seem mutually...

"Skimp" is putting it lightly. I'd have said "Orange and blue flashing behind a door." It was nice to see Peter kicking a little tail earlier in the episode. So, was anybody else confused by the timelines in the episode? It seems that in that future Hiro hadn't gone back to tell Peter to "save the c...

Agreed. Deus Ex is one of few games so awesome, I had to buy it. It was even available for Mac, how cool is that?(Don't answer). Has anyone played the sequel? Any good? I also think any FPS is way better on a computer than on a console. Mouse-look is way more intuitive and precise. BTW, did it bug a...

Has/does anyone read Powers or Ultra ? In these comics, (also Rising Stars , and the DCU and Marvel U to a lesser extent) super-types are huge freakin' stars-- beyond stars. Brad Pitt times a million. And I really think this would happen, too. First of all, plenty of people are crazy about super her...

I speak French! Though it seems, not well enough. I sort of got the gist of it last night...kinda. Here's the real translation according to the Internet: Mrs.Petrelli: And at least now she'll be safe, and no thanks to you. Haitian: Listen, I did all that I could, but she ended up finding her own pat...

Bah! April 23rd. Why are they doing this to me? Positives: Mohinder finally figured out that his little traveling partner is *gasp* Sylar! Its about time, I'd say. Didn't Mohinder how totally sketchy he was acting? Hiro's back in action (woo!). I'm curious to see just how Mrs. Petrelli fits into the...

I do think the whole act as stated screams "Unconstitutional," but depending on the percentage of the population who are super-human, it might be hard to get a lot of backing. Normal humans would be more concerned with what they think is keeping them safe than upholding the Constitution. About these...

Has anyone seen the Conservapedia?
Hilarious.
(found this in the A.V. Club's Hater column)
The entry for Fox News, and their Examples of Bais in Wikipedia are particularly great.
Kind of off topic, but...also kind of not?

*sniff* no Heros til '07. how sad. About Peter 'exploding': Him borrowing power from Nuclear Guy makes sense, but maybe it could also be some kind of power overload, from being in the proximity of all the other Powers. Back in Texas, anybody have any ideas on what was causing him to cough violently,...

I'm digging Heroes quite a bit. Its executive produced by Jeph Loeb , who's done some excellent writing for Batman , Spider-Man , and Daredevil comics (and more!). Also, all the paintings and comic art in the show, done by Isaac is done in real life by Tim Sale , who is a phenomenal comic artist (Il...

Of course, there's also the fact that fiction is limited to the imagination and knowledge of the writer, who is unable to foresee all the possible revolutions of the future, while real life knows no such limitation. bingo This seems most likely to me. Technology grows exponentially. Early hominids ...

Tai Chi is not a combat martial art. It is a medation techinque and does not take much to master. Have to disagree. Just because you can't kick the snot out of someone with it doesn't make it any easier to learn much less master . It is an internal style, but it is much more than simply meditation....

Amphibians use their tongues and muscle contractions to shove food down their throats, snakes use muscle contractions and so do many lizards. Birds also use peristalisis, which is...muslce contractions. Interesting. I can't remember where i first read about the bird thing, but recall the source was...
