Quite, though I thought the headline funny. Just the sort of thing to cause a double take in those who see it. Did anyone here actually see this broadcast? I did. He was pretty much demolished by the panel and audience. He's claiming it was a lynching now, which is mildly ironic to say the l...

On the whole subject of immigrants-knowing-more-than-the-natives.... When the UK citizenship test was introduced a few years ago, it was shown that hardly anyone actually born and bred here could get more than a 1/4 right. I tried it as well, and most of it such inanley irrelavent nonsense, it doesn...

Oi! It aint the Euros as a whole, just the Frogs! He hasnt been allowed into the UK for years, because he would have been nicked on sight.

No doubt there'll be a highly thrilling media circus around this before and after he gets extradited.

I guess the incandescent bulbs might look a bit more like sunlight, and thus feels more natural. The color is certainly different, so it could be anywhere from "they changed it now it sucks" to a built in feeling we have to like the sun. Supposedly thats been an issue for people with visual impairm...

Possibly one of the more disturbing things I've seen recently  The trouble for advertisers in the UK is that the Great Unwashed Masses worship at the Alter of the Kettle, and we know exactly how long the average ad break is. Unless your advert is amusing, we won't be watching

They did a fairly sensible thing of deciding to build them at a slower pace, so they managed to keep the jobs that were depending on them.

3000 isn't a huge number really, considering how many sea and airports we have

It's a start, I suppose. and since the Tories seem to be destined to take power in a few years, you can expect an expansion then as well.

Yeah, there are problems. One of the main ones (although not totally accountable) is the media over hyping it. It never used to happen a few years ago, and since then, practically everyday on the news its "kids/teenagers are a bunch of shits, PUNISH THEM!!!!!" I'm currently in college, have been for...

I gotta say, I don't think they're asking for much.... Just for what they earned.
And most if not all British people would agree with that. Even the most right wing rag with a hard on for immigrants has been taking up the story.

About the only people who really care about the EU these days are the farmers, since they get a pittance compared to the French ones. Nick Clegg does have a point - the UK will never reach a prominent position in the EU, its the pet project of France and Germany, both of whom have different social a...
