It was changed for verious reasons, multiple times now. Each time someone breaks a rule, more specifics and subrules are made. The contracts and such that are signed upon completion are constantly being challenged. Sometimes nutjobs get into the feild and make the jobs of those of us that are trying...

There are no shockings or beatings. Depressingly, not universally true. It's rarer, and much better hidden, but yes, the most abusive forms live on.. As the 2004 article reveals. Well, in those cases the therapist should be taken out and beaten. I know and have been thinking of going into this feil...

ABA is an extreme measure for treatment at best. Some children need the rigid routine of a structured ABA therapy. One where they remove all the fun and make a schedule for learning. Eg: 8am - breafast 8:15 am brush teeth 8:30 bath/shower 9am speach therapy on vowels. 10 am speach therapy on phonics...

I dont think its a bad thing to want the best for your child. To want to protect them from something that is effecting thier life. What I dont like is ABA therapies. Its very ridgid. You remove ALL distractions from a room in the house and put things like a desk and other learning apperatis in the r...

Are you Kidding? McCain has had bouts with Cancer and is frankly in frail health as it stands right now. I'm betting that the stress of the Presidency will outright kill him in under 2 years. Ladies and Gentlemen if McCain wins this election Palin will be President before 2011. *shivers and makes a...

As a parent of a child with an ASD, I wouldnt want him to be anything or anyone but his spirited young self. I dont want to fit him into a box, I am glad he is outside of it. I dont join those groups, unless they do patitions on things that I am currently trying to fight for, for my son. I was an ou...

That said, I think Obama's campaign needs to focus back on the economy and less on Palin. I hear that! I mean a good goal now would be for Obama to focus on Ike's disasterous wake and how we can stop price increases in gas and turn to natural resources. Things like that. I liked Obama because he wa...

I dont like her because she does want to take away a womans rights to choose. She is a religious nut that would put creationism back in schools ( I am not at all christian and dont think children have to be taught that. The basics on most larger religions are taught in schools for social studies. Th...

Women against Palin are sexist?

Just as the subject line above states, there are women in the media and sites across the world wide net, being called sexist for standing up and saying " Palin is not for me"! I personally have received about 20 emails now on various sites about how my views are " sexist". There are mothers, feminis...

Sexism is in play. It's one of the driving forces behind the pick. Because even if Palin can't get the Hillary voters, they'll make everyone swallow the idea that the 'Media is sexist' hook, line, and sinker. Ahh, they might get some people to swollow it, but I know numerous that are hacking up tha...

Thank you Derek Thunder! I am tired of speaking out against Palin on verious subjects and being called " Sexist" and I am tired of them crying " wolf" every 10 seconds! Sexism is not in play here. For the USA, it would be the NY times Crossword instead. Or smuggled Game Boys. Get with the time it would be an Iphone or Nintendo DS. Yet, on a serious note. Those would be noticable. So, not likely. The NY Times maybe. It just goes to show how some that when you make people do things they dont w...
