Oh I have much more respect (and use) for the Marines then the actual US Army.
The Army always struck me as more cowboyish then the Marines, who at least have a semblance of professionalism. Plus they seem to march more, and any guy who can hump 20+ klicks in full winter kit has my respect.

It would be pretty hard to rape someone on a sub without the cooperation of a large portion of the rest of the crew. The living quarters are all communal (save a very few whistleheads), and when your not on duty your either eating, sleeping or having a chat in the mess (also communal). It's not impo...

My main concern would be mines TBH, flat bottoms are pretty bad for that sort of thing and I doubt this thing is particularly well armoured. Frankly I think the Marines would have been better served with more LCAC's and increased numbers of MBT's and existing APC's. But you should definitely not dum...

You're basically at the mercy of the staff. For a couple that has been together for a long time it's generally considered the decent and humane thing to do to let them see each other... But if the hospital staff decides to be a dick you don't have much to stand on. Yup. Though as someone who has sp...

Steel let out a sigh of frustration, "nothing here but a lot of money glued to the walls" he mumbles to himself. Tuning his vox to the parties general channel he addressed his master, "mi'lord, the Navigators abode seems to be empty, save for decorations. I shall meet the Priest unless you have a ta...

They were too eager to engage, I don't deny it. Also, I don't understand their decision to take the kids to the local hospital where the facilities were poorer. I'll probably get a bit of flak for saying this, but the comment "it's their fault for bringing kids to a battle" didn't sound as callous ...

lol I also enjoyed bayonet drill, the odd time I got to do it. That said, the Commonwealth has always stressed running in PT because combat tends to be rather intense in that area. Never got to do pugil sticks though because a certain regiment who shall remain nameless *cough*Van Doos*cough* took th...
