I've been playing this magically fuck-AWESOME game called WARTHUNDER. A reliable source (Whitehaven), told me you guys played this game. I'm a bit of an American afficianado in the game would love to play a few rounds with like minded individuals. Are you a like minded individual? Watch the following vids. If more than one out of twoo made ya chukle, let's form up and gang-bang the opposition*...

*I generally play on Arcade since i'll let me induldge in my favorite US Past-time of "boom and zoom" or just drop groun targets with the finest bombers in the game.

I'd love to have a few wingmen (or women, not picky, you ladies are statistically more viscdious than us, so please come fly my wing and keep those OpFor fucks off my six...).

Well, welcome Coffee. A number of us have been playing already, and most of us have had similar things to say about the game.

I haven't yet tried the Tank side of things, but I've been enacting the stiff upper lip of the Royal Air Force. What what, and cheerio to the Hun!

Arcade mode, bro., I love Brit pilots as a wing. You guys can turn where I can. Better, you can sucker those other guys into a low-level fight, and if you call out targets to me I can either take that fucker down or shave that other fucker off your six. Eitherway, we win with good comms.

Wanna play sometime, duder?

Sure - I'm only able to typically play when I get home from work, which is rather late. I get off work typically at 0030, Pacific time, but if you're still up then, ping me on skype.

As a former Air Force aircraft mechanic, I both laud and loathe your use of Dos Gringos. It is well chosen for the thread, but for personal reasons I hate it. Mostly due to it bring up repressed memories...

No, unfortunately - not for another 3 hours.

In all fairness to the group in question here, aren't all their lyrics pretty much true? Especially "I'm a Pilot"?

Yes, there is absolute levels of truth there that would make Stephen Colbert weep at the truthiness of it. While their songs are catchy and if you know enough of the lingo to get the subtler parts of the songs they're pretty damned good. But they also represent air force pilots and all the evil that they contain...

As the big brother of an Air Force Mechanic, the son of an Air Force Mechanic, I respect your opinion, and I completely disregard it. It's humor, brother. Let's all just laugh, and maybe go forth to kill some other people in a game.
Ya down?

P.S. I come from a long line of degenerate USAF bastards (which is to say my grandpa flew for them, my Pop worked on everything from B-52 to Minuteman III silos), my little bro still works on B-52s (Fun Fact, Pop once glanced at the same aircraft, they've been in the inventory that long), and my own ass was born on a USAF base.

So I'm not sure if your playing a privilege here or something, but I don't actually care. I was just asking if people wanted to play a game and brought up some fond memories and stuff I learned from my dad and my little bro. Take that as you will.

Also...

I'm sorry, you obviously don't know me well enough to know that I was being entirely not serious with my comments concerning this.

4th gen military brat, learned my career field on the B-52 at Sheppard AFB. I'm well aware Dos Gringos is a non-serious band. They're two pilots out of Luke. I saw them once live on TDY. My comments were solely to jab fun at it.

My fault, then. I'm used to SDN. I'm not used to how things here go, bro,

I was hatched from under a warm rock just east of Sheppard AFB (In all seriousness, I was literally born there). My mother and father met over a roll of TP (seriously, if you doubt, give me a skype and she can tell you the story herself). I was born around the USAF, lived most of my young life with USAF/Cold War bullshit dominating my life, and when I finally had a chance I got the fuck away from them all.

My little bros both made their own choices, and I fully support them, by everytime I here someone tell me to not laugh a USAF humor I react the same as anyone else that grew in that environment. I left my school ever two-three years, made new friends, made new enemies, and repeated that fucking process all the way till I graduated high school.

You've served what, four, maybe eight years? Fucker, I lived with that shit till I was finally old enough to leave and be on my own as an adult. So you joined up, what ever. I grew up around you, lived with you, and had parents just like you.

So don;t fucking ever tell me what I can and cannot say about the USAF.

We cool?

Yeah, hanging out in SDN too long will do that to you. Hopefully you'll find that while there is some cross-over between there and here, LibArc is nevertheless a lot more relaxed and friendly in atmosphere. Having a small community of people who mostly know each other tends to do that.

The conversations tend to be more interesting, too.

You know, that's a big part of it. I'm used to there and I'm new here. So I'm gonna try and not be "me" there here.

That make sense?

Anyway....

WarThud, any of you wanna go kill people and break shit with airplanes?

No stress man. Stick around for a while, and I think you'll see why the rest of us settled here.
