Ok, so I have a question, who here plays Trading Card Games, otherwise known as Collectable Card Games (TCG and CCG).

If you do, what games do you play and or have played.

Personally, I used to play Magic the Gathering, back in the day, I started around 5th Edition, and quit shortly after the Urza Trilogy finished. I loved the Urza sets, and used to have a nasty Urza Artifact set.

At the moment, I'm playing Yu-Gi-Oh. It was almost a natural progression from MtG to YGO, the formats are just different enough to cause a challenge, but similar enough that being good in one give syou a advantage in the otherwhen it comes to strategy and deck building.

Currently waiting for the April 15 YGO Regional, hoping to place in the top four at that one in order to get a invite to the National Tournament.

Vampire: The Eternal Struggle. The fact that the game gets better the more people play and all the underhanded stuff you can do with political cards and influence pushes the game over the top for me. Fear my Tzimisce deck beotches!

I once played Digimon/Pokémon... but gave it up quite a few years ago though remember: I was much younger back then... and they were the in thing, and it was about the time I gave them up that I realised that I didn't want to be a member of the 'in thing' all that much. I'm too much of an individualist.

I play a little Magic: the Gathering. I actually still play it somewhat regularly, and am working on creating an online game to play it. However, I haven't bought any new cards for years.

I stopped playing Magic after the Rath cycle. Up till then I had full sets of Alpha through Weatherlight.

Good thing, buddy. The latest decent MTG game just doesn't work in Windows XP.

(yes, it works on my Win98 legacy system, but I often play turn-based strategy game in my laptop to kill time, like when on the plane)
