Why is it that GTA seems to conveniently forgetting that some of us PC gamers would like to play the newest version of the game?

I mean, come on! There is just as much profit in it for them if they do develop the PC version. I have the wheel, peddle and other attatchments for the computer already, so I could easily play it!

As of yet, I am unaware of the fact IF they are actually going to create a PC version.

Anyone else find it to be completely lame that they are not thinking of making a PC version?

The PC version of GTA games usually comes out 6 months or so after the console versions. You'll probably see it around Christmas or early next year, if it's coming.

So far, there have been no dates announced. Which is concerning.
I have been playing games for a long time now, and no dates being announced at this point for a PC version is very discouraging and usually means there will not be one.

Of course I would love to be wrong on this matter.

There were no dates for Mass Effect PC for a long time either, but yet here it is, a bare six months after the 360 version. It's a trick to boost sales for the console versions.

I think that each company that puts out a game for more than one medium should do it at one time.
No waits.

Why? Give me one reason beyond "I want to".
Do you realise how hard it is to release on one console? Do you realise the difficulties of making a two console release technically equivilent? Do you understand the sheer magnitude of also doing it on the PC at the same time?

I do indeed understand. Having a couple times been part of just a small sliver of the process.
It is just very aggrivating to me ( not just as a consumer) to see it come out in more than one console and not on pc.
I can play it on console. That is not the problem, it is just that I want to see how the PC version differs from the previous versions.
Usually each version has some differences in content as well. Little tricks that they have added to make that version unique to the others.

I have a short attention span and in a few weeks I will be on to my next addiction and will be writing off playing this game on more than two mediums.

Also, as someone who writes articles on PC games, it does irritate me that there are some awesome games that are for one or two mediums only and not for PC. Especially since PC is my main medium.

Yet, the arguement can be put the other way as well. That there are games for the PC and not for the others.

I wish there was a Guild Wars for the other mediums ( since I have beat the PC version multiple times and have now finally lost interest ing GvG). It would be cool to see how exactly they would come up with the controls and if the context/story line would be different if they did.

Yet, I am happy to just wait for GW2.
Anyways.

I love the GTA IV game. So, on the most basic level I am just being selfish and want to see what they may have planned for the PC, if they even plan to release it.
