So yes, it's a old game, but I just got back into replaying it, and realiezed how much of a newb I am at being a Starship captain.

So, who else plays it still? Anyone interested in getting together online for a lil good old starship smashup?

I obtained the Kobiyashi Maru Modpack thanks to Fisher, just needs a fresh install and the 1.1 patch.

What's the Kobiyashi Maru modpack have to offer?

If one can survive the technobabble and other Trekisms, it's easily enjoyable. The characters can be fun to watch (especially Brex and Felix) and, before I forget to mention it, Captain Gregory MacCray of USS Geronimo is awesome.

Also, is it just me, or is the Marine commander on Khitomer made to look like a younger Bruce Willis?

Anyway, fun game, I particularly like the dialogue as the final mission goes on. "The force is comprised of several Keldons." Brex: *nervously* "All Keldons? not even a single Galor?" Felix: "Maybe we destroyed them all."

And then what MacCray and Korbus say. "Let's show these Cardassians some action. I'll take the three on the left, if you'll handle the rest." "Ha ha, save some Cardassians for me Captain!"

Miguel: "You'd think someone as intelligent as Matan wouldn't give us a clear shot at his precious doomsday device.... unless he's gone mad."
Brex: "You're considering the sanity of a man who's hobby is destroying solar systems?"

Miguel: "I still think we should scan it."
Felix: "I still think we should destroy it."
Brex: "I think we should go help the Kessok evacuate."
