For those of you who wander the Internets, you may have come across this idea in that nexus of all that is wrong with the human race. I shall not mention its name, for it deserves not the attention, but occasionally some of the more enlightened boards have come up with ideas worthy of rescuing from the excrement heap.

I present Science: the Hypothesis. A Magic: the Gathering style idea, the objective is to get cards out on the table, acquire funding to conduct research to publish to acquire prestige and more research while moving towards the objective of introducing the next paradigm shift before your opponents can beat you to the punch. What say you all, can we actually turn this into a coherent idea? Because I know there are enough geeks on this board to make it a reality.

So it's a CCG style game whose basic plot is more or less what some of us do all day anyway?

Would it include stuff like industrial espionage and such? And you can use your opponent's cards that he has played to build your own tricks?
