ASUS with trimmings
Opinions please. Sadly, I doubt I can organize a 'Laptop for Nitram' fundraiser this time.

mmmm...
with the I5 and I7 processors, the Core2 Duo are going the way of "bargin bin" for processors...still powerful though..
17" screen...always love 17" laptops...especially since I gt a real numberpad with them.
6 gigs RAM...check.
the video card is appropriately new enough....and rammy enough. Check.
500gb HDD....good enough for gaming I suppose.
Looks alright, not sure how Asus stacks up in the way of laptops...but it looks decent enough there.
nice bargin.

We have two ASUS laptops here in the Manor, and both are resilient, useful buggers. I'm mostly looking for a computer that can feed my gaming addiction, as 'Integrated Graphics' on their normal netbooks does not cut it.

yeah, the Intel integrated graphics adaptors tend to suck when it comes to gaming.......still half decent for media.
At anyrate, the nVidia 200m is a good non-integrated card. Helps it's one of the newer nVidia at that.
