I'm not really that old, but I remember the speeches made by Carter, Reagan, Bushes Sr. and Jr., and Clinton. I never felt as moved when they spoke as I have been when Obama speaks.
Evidently, some other people feel the same way - dipdive.com hosts one of his speeches done to music. I thought it was impressive, and recaptured the spirit of what I found so inspiring about the way he speaks.
EDIT: There's also the youtube version that's smaller, but loads a bit faster.
