That's good enough for me! Quick, write your Senators and tell them to confirm! [quote]"MACHINE GUN SAMMY," A PERFECT HALLOWEEN PICK

Washington, D.C. - How could it have gone in any other direction, from a White House that just gave blanket immunity to the gun industry, which refuses to bar terrorists from buying guns, that broke a campaign promise and put Uzis and AK-47s back on America’s city streets, and insisted that records of gun purchases be destroyed before the sun sets on them twice?

It had to be a Supreme Court pick that favors legal machine guns.

In 1996, Judge Samuel Alito was the sole judge who dissented from his Third Circuit Court of Appeals colleagues when they upheld the authority of Congress to ban fully automatic machine guns.

“Earth to Sammy - who needs legal machine guns?â€Â

I think I'll wait and see like the rest of the nominees but he seems far more qualified than Miers already.

Well I'm having a hard time seeing a down side to the guy...

I gotta point out something however, AK-47s and Uzis are still illegal. And the fact they are illegal does not stop most street gangs from touting them around openly (you gonna report an organized band of killers next door to cops who almost never come by your neighborhood?)

The wonders of our Mexican broder there folks, it's not just people coming across it. In this case it's Chinese assualt rifles.

Most of the AKs and Uzis gangbangers tote around are the legal variants, around here, and they're for show. They don't know how to use the fucking things, as was demonstrated in the post-Rodney King riots era, when drive-bys with AKs tended to result in the interior of the car being shot up after the first shot deafened and freaked the shooter, who often ended up pulling the rifle back into the car and shooting again a few times.

Evolution in action.

They got more than enough of the illegal kind.

Yeah, but the Brady Campaign is nuts; we all knew that.

Which generally means they can miss faster. Good for them.
