My Great-Grandfather lived through the Second World War, but died quite a few years ago, I think I was only three or four years old when he passed away, so I didn't know him so well. Regardless;

Theodore Freda, my grandfather made it through WWII.
Bruce & Michele Davis, My parents both served in the US Navy.

My (American) grandfather served in WWII, and my father served during Vietnam. My father died on Memorial Day in 1995, so this is a double remembrance from me.
