A major theme these days seems to be Globalization. It is referred to in matters, economic, political, and cultural and almost everyone is rooting for it or against it.

So what is Globalization in your mind? What's the point of it? Is it good, bad or just one of those things?

Globalization is good, to the extent that it allows increased opportunity for people to seek out better lives and better and more varied goods and services.

It is not good when it is engineered in such a way as to favor only some but not others, and that may be where some of the opposition stems from. Some other aspects of the opposition stem from the increased competition, but that is necessary for the above advantages.
