While the GOP continues to think they haven't heard, loud and clear, a 'Fuck No' from voters on their economic ideas, numbers are coming in. The first poll entirely since the very public GOP lock-stepping on the Stimulus in the House has very blatant results. DemocracyCorps poll link: Here

Now the gritty.

Public support for stimulus: Up. 62% support Obama's plan, 27 oppose. The latter number is remarkably similar to the 'Bush is still doing a great job' results at the end of his term.

Obama: 70% believe he's 'honest and trustworthy', 75% 'strong leader', 80% approval, 56% Republican VOTER approval. Rasmussen's latest put his 'Strongly Approve' at 45%. Hardcore.

2010 states: 13 predicted competitive states strongly approve of the Obama plan, average 64 to 27. 40 of the most difficult(For dems) Congressional Districts support the plan 64 to 26. Those are Republican-leaning districts.

'Intense support': 70 percent of Americans support Obama's goals and policy.

With numbers like this, it's no wonder the Republicans who actually have to deliver results, the governers, are overwhelmingly supporting the plan. Even asking Obama who they should call.

Remember: Payroll tax cuts are 'handouts', capital gains tax cuts are 'sound economic policy'. In related news, weakness is strength. Love Big Brother.

Fox news. <sigh>

To top off their silliness, they are using inverted commas for emphasis. For shame.
