Dems: 234 Yay, 18 Nay, 2 No Vote.
Republicans: 0 votes Yay, 176 Nay, 2 No Vote.

Total: 234 to 194, Passes.

Roll Call of vote. Despite being numbered 66, trained legalese-reading squirrels report no commands to kill the Jedi.

Senate vote is in progress. It's hanging because they're leaving it open for Sherrod Brown of Ohio, who is attending memorial services for his mother.

60-37, as of 10:30 last night.

I'm try to ignore the prattle from the GOP right now. It's very dishonest. But I suppose we should identify the height of the main lie thrown around. It alleges a 30M earmark for a rare species of mouse in Pelosi's district. It's, of course, nonsense. When the partisan hacks that make up Fox's news broadcasts realized people could read it, we got this..
LAJEUNESSE: Alexis, you won’t find it in the bill. That is true. However, it is there. Now, what I mean by this. This is what Republicans call a phantom earmark. It’s $50 million for ecosystem restoration, habitat restoration in the San Francisco Bay area, for Congresswoman Pelosi’s district, which is a priority project for that agency there. There is no question that this will be funded when this money is released to the EPA as well as to Fish and Wildlife.
So who're you gonna believe? Them, or your lyin' eyes?

Oi.

Now the Speaker Of The House and President of the Senate put their signatures on the conferenced bill, and it's off to Obama.
