Not a serious news article here, just a little thing to lighten the mood.

For those of you who don't know, Glenn Beck is a windbag from Fox (previously CNN) who has his own radio chat show. Some days ago, a woman caller got him rather riled up.

Bill O'Reilly (of all people) calls him on it here: Link

Just too funny. :)

That erroneously implies he had it in the first place.

His on-screen sobbing is almost as creepy as his wargaming the revolution against Obama.

I think he's down 20 or more advertisers recently though. Extremism has a cost.

Bill O'Reilly is rapidly becoming my testing point for total batshit lunacy.

If I place you next to Bill O'Reilly and you look stupider, crazier, or sleazier than him, you have officially left the building and entered the twilight zone of paid professional clown.

Not to say that O'Reilly isn't such a thing of course, but Beck is just one of several people who have managed to top him in recent months.

I found a link to the Young Turk's take on the whole thing, here. Apparently, Beck had made a YouTube video about his appalling experience in a US hospital (Chen mentions it at about 5:30 or so).

After a little browsing on YouTube, I found it: link. And where he gets called on it, here.

Well, how about that.

I remember that. He was sobbing his eyes out(Most genuine emotion the bad comedy act he is ever showed, on TV, or back in radio) over the pain of an impacted cyst removal. To which I rolled my eyes; I did that shit in-patient, medicare-covered.

Of course, it did have him asserting, as the pain meds and suffering apparently shut off his reflexive liar impulsion, that we need a strongly regulated and reformed healthcare system.
