What isn't mentioned in the story but is on several video links and interviews is that the lady and her kid were walking through his yard off a walking path cutting between streets when they saw him.
1) Why the hell is this lady out walking her seven year old fucktrophey at 5:30am on a school day?
2) Why the hell isn't she being charged for trespassing and being a Peeping Tina? Last I checked this was still considered voyeurism and is a clear violation of basic privacy laws in the US.
3) How is this indecent exposure? He's not taking a piss on a building in an alleyway, he's in his kitchen not facing a major street when this woman and her fuckspawn come meandering through.
4) How was he wanting to be viewed? In his own home - check. 0530 when it's still dark out - check. Not facing a major road - check. Had no clue he was being watched - check. I'm sorry, but if I wanted someone to see my 'shortcomings'(Hey, it's cold out at 0530!), there are only a metric fuckton of ways that I could do it better than this. Like standing out on my front porch jerking off into fistfuls of Crisco. Or streaking down the road. Or opening my window and blowing an air horn every time someone walked or drove by.
Now had the genders been reversed, he'd be jailed for trespassing and being a peeping tom no doubt. So why isn't the reverse true? Why isn't she being charged or at least investigated?
Of course the downside is that the police and the DA have the go ahead to prosecute this case. No jury or judge would convict based on all of this. But because the police need to save face, they won't drop the case they'll offer him a plea bargain, probably knock it down to a general unspecific misdemeanor, no jail time and a $50 fine. Which the guy will probably take just because he's probably not that wealthy and doesn't have the sort of cash to hire the lawyers and fight this absurd charge.
Just glad that I haven't been caught yet by some random lady and her kid walking through my yard when I have to get up in the wee hours of the morning to take a leak or if I go downstairs to get a bottle of water after a fun little romp in the sheets.
Next thing you know they're going to charge someone with lewdness for having a wank in the shower.
Update Link A small update on the incident...SPRINGFIELD, Va. - A Springfield, Virginia man is facing an indecent exposure charge after a passerby spotted the man naked in his kitchen and reported it to police.
Eric Williamson, 29, is a commercial diver who grew up in Hawaii and rents home with several co-workers. Williamson told FOX 5's Will Thomas his roommates were not home and he walked into the kitchen to make coffee about 5:30 a.m. Monday.
"Yes, I wasn't wearing any clothes but I was alone, in my own home and just got out of bed. It was dark and I had no idea anyone was outside looking in at me," Williamson said.
The complaint came from an unidentified woman who was walking with a 7-year-old boy. A Fairfax County Police spokesman said officers arrested Williamson for indecent exposure because they believe he wanted to be seen naked by the public.
Officer Bud Walker said officers also consulted the Commonwealth's Attorney's Office and they were given the green light to proceed with the charge.
Williamson, who is father of a 5-year old girl, said he feels like the victim.
"I am a loving dad. Any of my friends and anyone knows that and there is not a chance on this planet I would ever, ever, ever do anything like that to a kid," he said.
Williamson is meeting with a lawyer to fight the charge and may attempt to seek damages from Fairfax County Police. If convicted on the misdemeanor charge, he would face up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
SPRINGFILED, Va. - A debate continues in Northern Virginia that is bringing the issue of civil liberties to the national stage. A 29-year-old Springfield man says he was making coffee in the nude was arrested after a neighbor saw him, and on Wednesday police were back out in his neighborhood looking for others who might have seen him.

On Wednesday, investigators told FOX 5 they have reason to believe there may have been another incident in which someone saw Williamson naked in front of his window. They're asking anyone who may have seen Williamson in the nude through his windows to come forward, even if it was at a different time.
If convicted on the misdemeanor charge, Williamson would face up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
