So this poll shows that only 12% of Americans think that Obama lowered their taxes, while 24% think he actually raised them. The reality is that he lowered taxes for 95% of Americans and increased for 5%. Why is this discrepancy? Because the Obama political machine somehow, inexplicably, forgot how to communicate with the people following the night of November 4th 2008. Meanwhile the Republican propaganda machine has been pounding on the lies and half-truths so people believe "Obama will raise taxes, oh noes", when this applies only to the most wealthy 5%.
Sigh.
