Kadis Sellon
Age: 21
Homeworld: Dusk
Divination: "A suspicious mind is a healthy mind."
Arma Theddsdotter was seven when men in black armour and guns that shot light came to her village. She was tithed to the dread lords, along with five other children. She was taken into the belly of a steel bird and traveled through darkness. In vaults deep beneath the earth she joined a class of a hundred. She was given a number. Her name was obliterated.
The class was winnowed. Discipline was iron. Mercy was anathema. The weak, the slow, the stupid, squeamish, and the unlucky fell to the wayside. Solitude was the rule. Training and conditioning her life.
Social polish was layered onto a killer's iron hard body, the necessary disguise to pass unnoticed and escape. Then came the first kill. She was rewarded with a name. Twice more she killed. Then she was told that she would be given a master.
Appearance: Kadis is a rangy, bronze skinned woman with a braid of black hair that falls midway down her back when free (which it usually isn't). Her body is well muscled and has more than a few scars.
Personality: She is ferocious, driven, and ruthless killer because to survive she has had to be those things. Their is an outer layer of piety and a superficial gloss of social skills, but she is pure predator. She has come to understand their is a wider universe that is both alien and attractive to her. A tiny remaining bud of curiosity begins to bloom.

It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

Alright dudes, and ladies I'll be getting this stuff noted down her this week and hopefully we can kick off soon. Kids are under foot cause it's summer, so I hope everyone is patient. ;)

I hope I’m not too late to get in on this. Imperial Overlord pointed me this way from SDN, but I was working and didn’t get his PM until an ungodly hour. If I’m not too late, here’s a hive world Tech-Priest. I’ll post a more detailed backstory a little later; I just want to get my foot in the door, so to speak.
Raltus Tauron, Tech-Priest
Age: 27
Height 1.75m
Weight: 80kg
Skin (what’s visible) is pale, and often covered in dirt, grime, machine oil, etc. Head is clean shaven and his eyes are hidden behind his full-face, black iron respirator unit.

I am considering joining this, as well, but I might be incommunicado for the next 2 weeks. Is there a way to add players once the game is started?Cpl Kendall wrote:Alright dudes, and ladies I'll be getting this stuff noted down her this week and hopefully we can kick off soon. Probably. It's not like the Inquisition's servants have a zero attrition rate.fgalkin wrote:I am considering joining this, as well, but I might be incommunicado for the next 2 weeks. Sure is, or we can wait the two weeks. Things are hectic for me at the moment anyways and it means we could do a designed campaign rather then one from a book.I am considering joining this, as well, but I might be incommunicado for the next 2 weeks. And here is the rest, if I've missed something, let me know. If there are issues with equipment or something I'll make changes.
Raltus Tauron was born to one of countless low-hive families toiling endlessly in the manufactories of Malfi. From an early age he was put to work repairing and maintaining the heavy machinery of Manufactory 417A (Machine Tools) alongside other factory workers’ children under the watchful eye of factory enginseer Kaltos. He was good at it, too. Where others lost fingers, hands, even whole arms in the guts of gigantic machines, Raltus made it without a scratch. Eventually he found himself too big to fit into the spaces he used to, yet still too small to operate the machines alongside his parents.
He could have joined an unaffiliated gang, like some of his friends. Instead, he worked for the manufactory foreman and enginseer Kaltos. He slithered through the forgotten places of the hive, searching for archaeotech, guided by the enginseer’s instructions. Sometimes he was lucky enough to watch the enginseer run tests. The foreman wasn’t satisfied with just his share of the profits, though. He wanted advancement. Manufactory 417A was running at peak efficiency, yet it was unable to pull ahead of its counterparts in productivity.
Raltus’ skills brought the foreman other ideas, and soon competing manufactories were suffering numerous unexplained failures and setbacks. Accusations flew hot and fast, but the foreman got what he wanted… as well as an Arbites investigation. The (relatively) exemplary production levels of Manufactory 417A had brought the enginseer to the attention of his superiors; he was to be elevated in rank. When the Arbites rolled in and placed the foreman against a wall at shotgun point, Raltus was already safely amongst the Mechanicus in the company of his mentor.

Looks like you use the tags below and put 1,2,3 etc in front of the d10 (d5, d100) and then any modifiers after the + and it gives you your results.Mercury01 wrote:

Just wondering, is the Fantasy Flight Games rulebook just a republishing of the Black Industries version or are there changes?

The game has stats for unbound demonhosts. Fear is a sane reaction to playing this game.

Well, you wouldn't be facing one without your own. It depends on whether I can find some stats for them or I have to make them up.Karrick wrote:
