Any games accepting new players?

#1 Any games accepting new players?
So that I don't annoy everyone by PMing them, can you all tell me which games are accepting new characters? I've played a little of everything (tabletop, that is) in the past, I think, and am open to trying new games. :)
And, if you need references as to my gaming skills, ask LadyTevar, she knows me better than anyone else ;)

This is my sis. This is the woman who taught me how to be evil.
In the scheme of things, there are always two, Master and Apprentice. Unlike Sith Lords, we do not destroy each other, but join forces to wreck havoc upon all mankind!

My 40K game is.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

She's never played WarHammer, Cat. I think she's more interested in Heros or Glitch.

Actually, Tev, I have played Warhammer.... about 10 years ago. And I think I owned the original Warhammer PC game. (I may still have it, as a matter of fact. Who knows what's residing in the black hole under the computer desk)
I don't remember much about it, tho... That's an idea; why don't y'all have a catch-all description of games?
Oh... and B4, if you wanna start a new Paranoia campaign, I'm in! I was totally bummed that there was no Midnight Paranoia at Marcon this year - ask Tev!
:) I used to be a huge Shadowrun player before E2. D&D, Shadowrun, Paranoia.... I'm sure there are others, I just can't think of any right now.

10 years ago? That would have been.... when you were living on McClung St., right? When Rob & Nida were always over? Did they teach you WarHammer?
I know I was more into playing Magic and BloodBowl at the time...

Actually, no. I think I played it once or twice with John-John in Huntington... so that would have been 16 years ago

Yeah, sis! You could make a Glitch character, and be brought into the party by one of DS's NPCs as another trapped person! :-D

That's unpossible! No player wins Paranoia! Hell they're lucky if they make it through the initial mission brief with more then 3 clones left!LadyTevar wrote:I will warn you... this is the woman who wins Paranoia games.

She's made it through an entire game as the only one left alive, with 3 clones. She was responsible for the complete death of two players, simply by letting them go through a disintigration trapped doorway without warning their new clones of how the last one died.B4UTRUST wrote:That's unpossible! Damn, she's a really effective player.
I shall have to work extra hard to ensure her untimely death ^_^ But that's ok! Cthulhu awaits at the end of the tunnel...

As posted on the Paranois OOC:
DevonieI will say to those who have been intimidated by what tev has told you about me, those things happened in two separate campaigns; the first was my FIRST TIME PLAYING tabletop Paranoia, the other was my FIRST TIME PLAYING live-action Paranoia....
In other words, the less you know, the better your chances of survival

Hello, I'm also new (here), and I was wondering if there were any games still open that wouldn't mind a complete newbie to the pen and paper RPG scene.
(I hope this isn't counted as too necro; sure, this thread's almost a month old, but it's only a few down on the first page.)

Do to our slow pace, we're fairly necro tolerant as long as it isn't spam. Go find a game that you like and PM or instant message the GM to see if you join. Most of the games are fairly open.DesertFly wrote:Hello, I'm also new (here), and I was wondering if there were any games still open that wouldn't mind a complete newbie to the pen and paper RPG scene.
