After the company that produced an earlier version went belly up, Green Ronin acquired the rights for it. They're producing their own system for the game (the previous guys went D20 and as any fool can tell you D20 only works well for high fantasy).
Now I really like Green Ronin's work. They're adaptation of The Black Company was extremely well done and they somehow managed to find fluff bits that I didn't know about (and I'm a rabid, reread the series once every two years or so, fanboy). Their Warhammer Fantasy work hasn't sucked either. The world is in good hands.
