Since the subtle, in character bit didn't work, YOU DON"T NEED THE FUCKING GOGGLES FOR DETECT MAGIC TORTOISE. WE ARE NOT DOING HARD D&D GAME MECHANICS.

You can afford them all, especially if you run the goggles and the gauntlets off the same arcane conversion engine. They're quite affordable minor magic items, but frankly its a horrible way to spend your money.

Mechanika essentially has a certain base price for existing. Alchemical goggles, gauntlets, conversion engines, accumulators, arcane triggers, etcetera. The stuff that's based on level of the item is cheaper. Essentially the entry cost is expensive but the stuff based on the actually power of the item is cheaper. And the top level of performance is lower. So mechanika saves the most money with weapons and mid level magic items.

Rods and staves are very expensive under the mechanika scheme. Wands are cheap. Mechanika rods and staves still run off accumulators.

Now making a set of alchemical gauntlets that can both dispel magic and shock people, that would be easily affordable. Your scheme would eat up most of your cash making a rod, a magic items that doesn't benefit you, and the gauntlets.
