Since I apparently wasn't clear enough on this matter previously, allow me to reiterate it here so that no one has an excuse.

NO EPISODE SEVEN DISCUSSION IN MY PROXIMITY UNTIL I GET TO SEE THE GODDAMN MOVIE. NO TRAILERS, NO MEMES, NO NOTHING. I don't care if you don't think it's spoilery or it's something I should already know. NOTHING.

If this occurs again, I'll be unplugging all of my systems from the net until around January. That means NO GAME UNTIL 2016.

It also means I won't be showing up for Shadowrun or Vampire, and before I log off I'll be mentioning who is responsible to Lys and CynCat.

For those of you who have been respecting my wishes, thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. I apologize if this ends up affecting you.

Due to a recent death in the family, I wont be available this sunday (tomorrow: 12/13) for star wars. Should it be required, Julian has my proxy.

May I shadow the game tomorrow?
I'm interested in learning the dice system, as well as wanting to get back in the habit of joining Skype for gaming.

This Sunday will either be Frigid or Cyncat. For various reasons I will not be running a game this week.

So, this isn't likely going to matter much for my game, given the absolute sparsity of Cortosis in the Rebellion Era (No, I don't care what the book says. It also mentions the Force Unleashed. I elect to ignore parts of it as I see fit), but I have been working on a fix to the Cortosis Quality for Armor Modifications.

The proposed alteration as it stand will be as follows. Instead of utterly ignoring pierce and breach, which is silly, it will instead do the following:

Against Pierce, pierce ratings are halved (rounded down).

Against Breach, armor is halved (rounded up).

This prevents Breach from making the armor utterly useless, while not making breach itself utterly useless. Pierce is reduced, but not ignored completely, and thus everyone is happy and Cortosis remains a general benefit for all involved. Weapons with Cortosis do not change.

But what, one might ask, of weapons with a breach of 2 or greater? Well, most of those will simply annihilate you on raw damage, so I wouldn't worry, honestly. What of Pierce Ratings of higher than 5? Perhaps even Pierce Ratings of 10? We'll cross that bridge if it ever comes up.

CynCat may or may not use these rules or variations thereof for his game, that will be up to him, I am presenting them here for discussion and so there is a written version available for people to look at.

Three days after a 'holiday' that consists of being drunk, as someone who doesn't drink? Heck yeah, I'll be there. Lemme just blow all this dust off of 84...

I think over the past week I've slept off the sleep debt from at least four months, so I'm available. I may still be nursing a hangover, but I'll be there.

Ok. So Obsidian Portal is... semi-down. There is a server load issue, and access is sporadic. I have managed to log in and grab my character sheet, would recommend the scurvy lot of you do the same. If at first you dont succeed, try try again.

I've had a bunch of tutoring ex-clients and a new clients explode my phone asking to see me tomorrow. I'll be at the library pretty much all day and I don't know when I'll be back. I will try to be back before 6pm mountain time but it'll depend who shows up when and where.

I hate to do this, but it's the Super Bowl tomorrow and I'm going to be attending a Super Bowl party as a consequence. I will therefore be fairly late tomorrow.
