I am still in the game, my last post was overlooked or something. It hardly matters, I will be posting shortly.

Just for the record - I'm not trying to make Kolth supernaturally ninja (though he will get to that point).
What I am trying to show is that his Anima ability along with that Rote he loves make it...VERY difficult to sense him if he doesn't make himself obvious.

Fair enough. Just wanted to throw that out there with the "sudden appearance" stuff I pull with him often. The Nomad wrote:As long as it's only flavour, I don't mind.
When it is serious business, I'll be the judge and roll the dice. However, with a potential 3 base success plus 8 dice pool, it's true that you are quite the ninja.

Just in case it isn't clear, the fact that the graveyard looks poorly maintained in comparison to others is not an indication of covert ancestor worship: the ancestor worship is in the two well maintained ones. Ancestor worship is not so universally reviled as to be a shameful secret in every part of Creation, and the Scavenger Lands, despite their little trouble with Deathlords, are not more likely to persecute it that any other country (less so, in fact).I wrote:Orduin spent the day observing the graveyards near the villages. None of them showed any sign of necromantic depredations. He however noticed that the graveyards in two villages, the one closest and the one furthest from the river, were well maintained, and there were signs of burnt offerings near some graves. The graveyard in the middle village seemed bare and little thought-about in comparison. The area showed no Essence disturbance, merely a single dragon line crossing this part of the forest without a convergence into a Demesne or Manor.

You know, I could have Tevar contact the first forest lord to verify the missing village was worshipping ancestors.
Then, if verified, I say guard the one closest to the river.

Technically, this would call for a prayer roll, but considering you have his token, we'll ditch that.
Nitram has asked me for some last-minute changes to his CS, since he discovered mobility penalties don't apply to attack rolls and he feels he doesn't need the penalty-reduction Charms in his build. I'm being generous and offer you all a last chance to make some slight modifications to your characters (as long as the element in question hasn't been used already). After that, there will be no modifications.

Awesome. The Nomad wrote:Well, unless Tevar wants to contact the first forest god, your next step will be to chose which village you want to protect in priority.
Tev, it's on you, and/or then we flip the ol' three-sided coin for the chance to mug a Deathlord. I call his boots and his wallet.
