What can I say.....I'm GM'ing a very twisted sick and odd individual in the Master.
Plus the thread is a bit screwing witht he head, unless you read through it.
Basically, the Master used to be human, sacrificed himself to keep everyone else from being killed by a Cloud becoming Sephiroth like, then came back after going twenty years in the past, and becoming horribly powerful.
There's plenty of stuff going on here...alot I can't say because of plot.

Ok.....so I here's the deal....

Basically put, thanks to the TARDIS, the group will have all Ascended, and manage to face down to bad guys headed by the Master. They will have defeated what they thought was the Master/Darek, only to have it told to them, as they were forced to return home, that it was merely a Avatar of a higher power the entire time, having taken his form.
I'll be writing the very end part of the second part of the Trilogy before I start the thread for Chapter 3.
I'll reopen registration if anyone else wants to join in... (Cynical, I'm looking at you here...) and Chapter Three will actually give a good jumping off point for new players to join in.
Sound off if your still interested/are returning / want to join.

And on a side note. It would be awesome if someone picked a character with healing capabilities as their game character. Because I know that at the very lest my guy will need them... a lot.

Information for Chapter Three
Time Frame - Three months after the defeat of the Master
It's been three months since the defeat of the Master - a powerful Avatar of a greater power who simply used Darek's form for it's own purposes. Approximately one month after returning home, the sky cracked open, and a fleet of starships poured out, taking position in orbit. Soldiers landed on the ground, and captured all humans with the ability to Ascend, including the group which had - in their frame of reference - saved both Universes.
All those with the potential where placed in stasis chambers, and secured away during what has been dubbed the Seven Hour War.
At the end of the Seven Hours, thanks to the position of having orbit with a fleet of ships each more powerful than the full nuclear might of the Earth, the Council who remained still alive where in power, and placed their own Governors. The Aperture Medical Sciences Psychiatric Treatment Center was constructed to house the "Ascenders", and each tube was placed in it's own containment cell. Over the past two months, each PC's memories have been altered, years of new memories being placed - their old lives now seem like a half remembered waking dream, while it still seems more real than the reality of it now, it is still fuzzy. Those who were amoungst the PC's in of the other two chapters, see that as a very vivid dream they JUST woke up from.
The entire scenario has been crafted by the captors, to make the PC's beleive they've been in the center for years..undergoing intensive psychiatric treatment. Meanwhile, the World is "safely" in the hands of the the bad guys.
i leave it up to the players on how this affects their character, what exactly is remembered of their old lives, the time in the Digital Realm, etc etc.
I'll start the new thread in a few days.

I was thinking "how am I going to start chapter 3 off..." when I realiezed....
the players need to be the first posts in this thing. I already set the scene and tone at the end of Chapter 2, and now to get anything going...the rest of you have to have your go.
So, I'm making Chapter 3 this morning, it'll start only with a simple quote, the rest of you have to make your replies from there.
Mostly just reaction to waking up and what not..et us see some of this excellent writing skills you all have.

I'm gonna go with no on this one. I know metaphysical powers are right out, though characters might still be extremely tough or strong or agile. If you were a more tech. based that stuff will work fine, so long as you can manage to get it back.Rukia wrote:Are powers useable to any extent?

Yelling at a catatonic patient you're trying to heal is not gonna work. It would only get a negative response and drive the patient deeper into their regression, something I'm sure these doctors do NOT want to do.
Yes, Leah is fighting and throwing fits. The orderlies and doctors are treating her as cautiously as possible, trying to minimize damage to all parties involved. However, they can't keep drugging her, because that's not going to cure her and could damage her more in the long run.
Your character would be treated with kidsgloves, trying to draw her out like a small shy child, not yell and scream and knock her about.
