Even with the problems.... GREAT SHOT MARCAO!
And since I spent over 11 motes... looks like my Anima flared. ((Spending more than 11 motes in a scene from this pool causes her to be wrapped in light and dark, shifting and moving.))
I'll describe it when I figure out what I want to post.

So far, the only one that's laughed about the "flat on her back" comment is Nitram.
Gee, guys, I put it there for laughs, you know

Yeah, I see my stop.

Other house rule (it's unclear in the corebook, so I adjudicate right now) : the amount of dice or successes or static augmentations gained through excellencies is unaffected by the capping of your abilities (but you must recalculate your DVs). I feel it's an additional and unfair advantage to Sidereals and Lunars, and a real pain to Dragon-Blooded.

I mostly ask for curiousity: Is this partially to preserve a Recurring Villain?
If so, can we get a Dramatic Pose as he vanishes across the barrier between life and death?

How can he be a re-occuring villian if we don't know his name?!SirNitram wrote:I mostly ask for curiousity: Is this partially to preserve a Recurring Villain?

Nope, technically you should have done so as soon as you set foot on a ship, but I considered that an immobile ship on a river was not sufficiently 'alien' to warrant limiting your ratings. A sinking ship however, is another matter.SirNitram wrote:I mostly ask for curiousity: Is this partially to preserve a Recurring Villain?
Do you wish to have him as a recurring villain? If you wish so, we can abort the combat and let him have his dramatic escape. If so, can we get a Dramatic Pose as he vanishes across the barrier between life and death?
You would have known his name if you had asked. Perhaps he'd even have offered you a cup of tea while explaining his Grand Plan (no kidding).
(Anyway, I lost my draft CS of him so I can't remember his name... Will have to invent one. Again.)

Well, we've got one person with sail, and they're in no position to hop in. This guy can probably escape, unless he's obsessed with getting those mortals.

I've already sworn vengence on him over the Dryad, so it give me a really good reason to keep after him. If you want, have him vanish and drop Kolth and I in the water.

Not quite in the same way you're thinking. What I had in mind is "GET BACK HERE YOU CORPSE-F*CKING PIECE OF SHIT" as he runs off. Kolth's not really in a conversational mood with this guy at present. The Nomad wrote:Do you wish to have him as a recurring villain? Heh, Kolth would've attacked him anyway about half-way through if he did, just on sheer principle. The Nomad wrote:You would have known his name if you had asked. Perhaps he'd even have offered you a cup of tea while explaining his Grand Plan (no kidding).

Technically, he's not obsessed about the mortals, he's pissed off with the guy shooting his ship with an implosion bow (and the annoying, rude ninja that is the only one to have actually hurt him). He'll not be fleeing Kolth or Teamhair, he'll be putting himself out of sight of the embarked siege weaponSirNitram wrote:Well, we've got one person with sail, and they're in no position to hop in. Teamhair: I don't recall if you payed the WP to ignore his fear aura. It doesn't matter since the combat is almost over, but remember to account for the Limit.
Marcao: sorry for the spell, but you're the one threatening his escape route and the one who sunk his ship. He could hardly vanish without sending something your way
On another note: I love necrotech. When I'll have time, I'll design some nasty little critters to send you. I'm a fan of the mother-zombie that flungs acid-bomb fetuses using umbilical cords as a sling. I'll strive to invent things in the same vein

I think I was using her Solar Bond to overcome the Fear Aura, but if you want I'll mark off the WP to account for it.
Either way, she's going to be once again trying to sprint and leap to the shore.

Gah, Mother of Suffering. I hate that thing. Creation seriously needs something to compete. Especially with something called Helltech on the horizon. The Nomad wrote:On another note: I love necrotech.
