Heh.

Anyway, ten points of lay on hands expended. Five more in this pool, then I can pray for a minute and get 15 more points before I'm out for the day.

Is the dog still alive? That sonic blast wouldn't have been good for his health.

Five remaining points of LoH used on Saidin. Gror will now pray for one minute unless there's an interruption.

The dog has 20 hp, but he's also my mount. Seeing as how I didn't involve him in combat, could I just say that it was following at a safe distance?

That would be fine.

Alright, now that I'm back, I'll move things along again today once I catch up.

Alright, first of all, I'll assume people will be taking 20 on the search roll for the creature's cave, so as to avoid cheesy rolling of Search and Spot checks.

So, those of you doing the searching will find the following:

* 3 rings
* 2 potions
* 3,551 gold pieces
* 1 longsword
* 1 belt
* 1 pair of gauntlets
* 3 books

Comrade Tortoise: 2 of the 3 rings (though all three are inscribed with the same emblem of Impetrus), both potions, the belt, the gauntlets, and one of the three books are resonating magically.

That's incorrect. You can't have a Wand of Cure Moderate with caster level of 1. It's a 2nd level spell.

It can't be that either. Go read what fucking level the wand is and read the spell.

First off, chill out. Second off, I don't have a book that tells me what the wand does, I was going off of the cleric's description of the spell. So if you happen to have a book that tells me exactly what the formula is, then kindly correct my mistake. Otherwise my roll stays.

There's a thing online called the d20 SRD. Look the bloody thing up. The DM is the one that determines whether or not the roll stays. No one can tell you how much that spell cures without knowing the level of the caster.

The SRD says that it's 2d8+Caster lvl, but since Rogues' don't have caster lvls what should it be? If they do have them then I can't find anything about it.

Rogues don't. Wands do. That's why I said you needed to know the wand's level.

I didn't know that you had to pick a lvl for it, what's the lowest lvl I can take for it?

3rd caster level. The default price is for the minimum, so the roll should be 2d8+3.

You know, it would have been easier to just tell him that.

I would have, if I was sure it was only 3rd level. A lot of them aren't.

If the caster level is higher, the wand would cost more. Since he didn't know about the caster level, it stands to reason he didn't pay more for a higher one, since higher than minimum wands aren't on the price charts.

I have no idea how he got the wand and some price charts do include higher than minimal level wands. I asked him the wand level in the first bloody post and he responded by not telling me a damn thing about it.
