Jesus, I was just joking. I know a damn time vortex ain't a literal vortex. God forbid I dare make a joke about the hallowed Dr. Who.

Aye, it's just that you only had one smilie throughout the entire postRa wrote:Jesus, I was just joking. I know a damn time vortex ain't a literal vortex. God forbid I dare make a joke about the hallowed Dr. Who.
It's a decent way of not killing him but weakening him - and if we want to extend it further... we make it fail. Time Lord technology can fail, you know. Evidenced by them being somewhat, y'know, extinct.
And Nerfing the Doctors?
He's got eleven broken TARDISes, I don't know why, but I get the feeling that Eleven Broken TARDISes aren't quite as good as a single fully working one... and they're nothing but a shadow of their former ability at that now that the Time Lords are extinct.

Well, the A'millians slip away and form their own plan of attack.
BTW: A mark XI is an antimatter warhead, think gatebuster level bomb, and it would be trivial for the A'millians to remote pilot it into Narth.. nar... nar-gonna-survive-that-blast.

Off-topic, but I remember the scene. The astronout was spinned around in such incredible speed and literaly ripped apart (starting from his face) by the centrifugal force. It was a scene I would never forget.Ra wrote:Though such an ending would be immensely funny. "Hey, Nyar, remember that astronaut from Mission to Mars that got ripped apart by that tornado? Now you get to feel the same way! HAHAHAHAHAHA!".

So be it. If saying "NO" means being alone, then to hell with love, with romance, with marriage, and all the shit life keeps pumping at me. I'll walk alone, but with freedom and a healed pride.
NEVER buy a LiteOn CD/DVD Writer. Ever.

Wow, this is harder to write than I was hoping it would be.
A quick sum up of my last few posts, mostly here as a reminder to myself:
Lord Adam goes behind everyone's backs to carry out a plan to go General Order 24 on planet whatever-I-called-it. His plan was simple: by starting to systematicaly destroy worshippers, he would do 2 things at once: 1) get rid of bandwidth seeds, weaking the entity's power (I cant damn spell that name). 2) get the entity's attention, seeing how he would have to do something to prevent the loss of the majority of his worshippers, and by extension his power.
His plan was the entity would move in to stop Adam after the bombardment began, at which point Adam would blast him with the planet killer antimatter bomb, terminating it.
(As an aside, a photon torpedo would easily have enough firepower to vapourise a city in one shot, and the ship had 80 photons. He figures that could take out 1/8 the planetary population within an hour, and the fallout effects would cause far more damage. He also had the ship's phaser banks to continue the bombardment if needed)
But, the Lady figured out his plan despite his efforts not to get her involved (he didnt want her nor anyone else involved since he was going to execue a blatent act of genocide, and getting others to assist would dishonour them too). She waited for him to come to the ship, and intended to simply talk him out of it, though he was quite convinced this was the only way to win.
She decided to start a sword fight with him, knowing he was quite skilled, but she was better and should be able to force him back while still tring to talk to him, causing no harm to either of them.
Lord Adam, not wanting to hurt his friend, started using appeals to emotion to get her to make a mistake, at which point he would rush to the ship and launch.
But it was he who made the mistake, and all the centuries of fighting to the death were ingraned on the Lady's instincts, and she took the oppourtinuity to attack without thinking about it, and by the time her rational mind realised what just happened a split second later, it was too late. Seconds later, he dies in her arms.
She takes him back to the castle, concealing the true turn of events, and keeping news of his death classified and only released to a very small group of people.
She prepares him for a funeral, and blabs to his corpse. She is feeling remorse and guilt here, but has no time to worry about any of that, and instead turns back to her work to try to control herself.
My plans from here on really depend on what the rest of you do. The clock will be slowly ticking away, and the Lady will have to deal with what is going on here, tring to maintain her rationality and perspective after losing the only friend she ever had, the sole constant in her life after 1700 years. If you do nothing as time continues on, the tragedy may be complete as she closes the game. Or if you continue the struggle, the tragedy may be complete as you close the game.
Either way, the tragedy will be complete.
