#1 setting-specific classes (DND)

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping review a few conversions of my free-form classes into DnD terms. I rather want to try my hand at DMing, and I'd be more comfortable using one of my own lands than Faerun, or the current plan of Ravenloft. (...though I will still be getting that Ravenloft thing together, Rogue and Masterharper. This is more of a side-project.)
I'll need to create a few monsters, though, and totally write out a handful of original classes that do not translate into any of those I've read anywhere. I have access to DMG2, so I'll have some help, but I want to make sure everything's relatively balanced without being overpowered. This will be a bit of a long-term project. I suppose it would be easier to reshape my land in DnD's image, but I'm fussy, and goshdangit, I will not be turning Faeriecasters into a mage who can kinda talk to fae like that Seelie class from Complete Mage, or Jyottimaisi into Incarnates. Because they're not, goshdangit, and no template I've seen so far would make a Nishaa.
