#1 RPG's: Play-By-Skype

Hotfoot and I were talking earlier about the possibility of playing RPG's via Skype, and all the technological problems are taken care of, as we'd have an online gameboard for miniatures and dice rolling as well.
This has me interested for several reasons, but I also wanted to gauge interest. So - who's interested, and what games are you interested in?
To answer this myself, I'm interested in trying D&D 4e (Hotfoot convinced me to try it), or Star Wars Saga, as it's essentially D&D 3.75e in SPAAAAACE. I'm also open to playing Heavy Gear.

Thank you, DS.
So - anyone else interested?

Huh, odd, someone must have hacked my account and posted something silly.
Okay, now, as far as running games goes. I'm not sure I'm up to running D&D 4E, but I'll try anything once, perhaps a few one shots once in a while or something. I generally like to play a game a few times before I try running it.
So, a list of games I'd be willing to run, in no particular order:
Stargate SG-1 (SilCore Rules)
Heavy Gear
Jovian Chronicles
Tribe 8
Gear Krieg
Cyberpunk 2020
Cyberpunk v3
Mekton Zeta
Artesia
Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader
Star Wars Saga Edition
Maybe, maybe D&D 4E, I'd have to see. Eventually, obviously, it'd be fun to try and do some test runs with the system I'm working on, but other than that, well, I don't know. As for what I'm willing to play, the list is much longer.

The "what" will probably be by popular consensus. "When" is more or less up to everyone's schedules.
What games would you both be interested in playing table-top?

I'm up for anything so long as I can get my hands on the rules. I have a variety of sundry things although of those brought up so far I have physical copies of Dark Heresy and the Player's Handbook for D&D 4E

I have none of those game, and have played none of those games.

Then a natural follow-up question would be: if you're interested in this idea, what games do you have, and what would you like to play?

Note that not having the games, while a slight impediment, will not preclude anyone from playing. If anyone wants basic breakdowns of any of the games I have listed, I would be happy to do so.

I never, EVER thought I would say this, but given the talk Hotfoot and I had earlier about D&D, I'm actually willing to give D&D 4e a try.
Basically because one can make a reasonable facsimile of the 3.5 Duskblade or Monk without bending the rules over a couch, from what I understand, while also being more fun to actually play and roll through.

I'd rather play D&D 3.x, if we go that way.

Alright, you people seem to forget you have access to the Ultimate RPG collection, via me. If you guys have a system you want to run, ask me and chances are good I've got rules for it somewhere...

Also, helping one another via Skype is easier than via IM.

So, we have one request for D&D 3.x e from the good Lady Tev, and some noncommittal responses from others.
I'd be willing to go 3.x D&D for a game, but then, I'm not really picky about which game - I just miss table-top gaming.
So, any other suggestions or interested people?

I MIGHT be interested....
maybe in some D&D stuff...but be aware it's been ages since i did Table Top...
I might even be willing to do some oWoD stuff (Mage...maybe Vampire or Werewolf) if there's interest over Skype....
I still have most of my old Vampire and Mage books in dead tree stuff.

You would have to mention oWOD...
Yes, I'd play that as well.

I'd have to snap up the books from someone, but oWoD is also amenable to me. I also just remembered that I have the Trinity/Aberrant books kicking about my hard drive somewhere.

Hotfoot, our recent debate over on SDN over Saga Edition has made me want to play it.

So, SW: Saga, oWoD (vamp/were), and D&D so far. Awesome.
I would suggest that this first, pilot game be good ol' D&D (or a derivative), since its a familiar lens through which to see about playing via Skype. Having said that though, and knowing that SW:Saga uses d20 rules, I'd still want to read those rulebooks before making a decision.

You know just for the record, I would be interested but I'm willing to bet that I can't make any of the open days.

My schedule's kinda screwy too man, don't feel bad. As it is, it would be easiest for me on Wednesday & Thursday afternoons, but late at night is good too.
