"This is Optimus Prime. To all surviving Autobots who hear this message, I ask you to join me in a remote corner of this galaxy - on a small planet rich in Energon. I have reason to believe this world will soon become a new target of Decepticon Conquest. Our team is small, but strong."

"join me at these coordinates, so that we might plan our resistance."

"Safe journeys."

----------

Three months have passed since Optimus Prime sent out the call on the Autobot frequencies throughout the galaxy - three months since Starscream managed to decrypt the signal and lead the Decepticons aboard the warship Nemesis to the small blue, green and white marble in space - known as Earth. With Megatron gone into Deep Space to look for a means of vanquishing the Autobots, Starscream has assumed temporary command of the Decepticon Flagship and it's troops, and has left for Earth. His goals are two-fold - Strip the planet of all it's available Energon, and to succeed where his Master could not - terminate the Last Prime.

Players will create a new character, a "new recruit" to Autobot Squad known as "Team Prime" - a covert team working in secret with the backing of the US Government to repulse the Decepticons and stop them from plundering the planet's rich Energon veins.

At the time of this game, "Team Prime" consist of:
Optimus Prime - Leader of the Autobots and the Last Prime (
Bumblebee - Autobot Scout and warrior
Rachet - Autobot Medic
Arcee - A Female Autobot, stealth operations specialist
Cliffjumper - Autobot warrior
Bulkhead - A former member of the Wreckers and Autobot Warrior

This game is taking place - obviously - in the Transformers Prime "Aligned" Continuity - which includes the Transformers Prime TV show and the War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron video games. If there are any questions, please feel free to ask. In this setting, while Transformers can have "external weapons" (Dreadwing and Megatron are the most obvious examples) - most weaponry is transformed portions of the Cybertronian's own robot chassis as a side function of a Cybertronian's T-Cog (Transformation Cog).

Character Sheet:

Name: Pathfinder
Function: Scout

Alt-Mode: Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Weapon(s): Pathfinder has the option of double-barrel lasers in both arms, or a single blade from his left.

Bio: Pathfinder was one of the last graduates of the Elite Guard Academy. While a few of his fellow graduates got cozy jobs protecting Iacon and the Hall of Records, Pathfinder's talents had him out on the front line. Or, more exactly behind the 'Con front line, scouting and painting targets for his fellow Autobots. If there was a way to get to something, Pathfinder managed to find a way, even if it wasn't always the safest or smartest way. Luck and a good medic kept him from getting scrapped when Iacon fell.

After Cybertron was abandoned, Pathfinder roamed aimlessly. Sometimes he was again in the thick of fighting 'Cons. Othertimes, he joined exploration ships looking for new Energon sources, where his talent for pathfinding was appreciated. It was just after a boring (and less than successful) exploration that he heard Optimus's call.

A chance to work with the Prime himself was all Pathfinder needed to hear.

Well erm... let me think here. Because as I'm sure most of you guessed, I have some decisions to make at this point, don't I?

Be honest. The only thing stopping you from doing Transformers: Rome is the lack of any good alt-forms that aren't..buildings. Or chariots.

It should be noted that for the most part (aside from perhaps the "Fliers") than any Autobot will have a CIVILIAN Vehicle Mode.

The work around that the Autobots have with the US Government is that they operate under disguise, with only a human liaison officer that keeps the Autobots and Government in contact.

And please, try to keep the amount of Autobot Fliers (autobots with flying alt modes) to a minimum...

The Vehicon/Decepticon army is a bit more fleshed out than in the Prime Cartoon - the Vehicons are basically just the Decepticon Grunts who all pretty much share the same robot and vehicle modes for their "classes". The "basic" Vehicons are the Car and Carjet types as seen in the TV show, along with a Helicoptor type and a Tank type Vehicons (the tanks have a bulkier build in robot mode along with heavy armor plates on their forearms)

Character Sheet:

Name: ScrapScavenger

Function: Combat engineer.

Alt-Mode: Articulated dump truck.

Image

Weapon(s): Multiple tools at the end of limbs for close combat, anti-emplacement rockets in twin pods on shoulder.

Bio: Scrapscavenger wasn't an important 'bot before the war. Just another of the many, many construction workers, he built up new parts of cities, and demolished old. When dark energon and the gladiator Megatronus ignited a war, he scavenged as much random junk as he could and started armoring himself up. When the fighting found him, he had dug in and hit back hard, before escaping down into disused tunnels he had reported demolished weeks ago in foresight. When Cybertron was rapidly descending towards energy death, he got off the planet. Now, with Prime's signal going out, he's turned up on Earth and adopted a vehicle form, though the botminders are concerned by his non-humanoid form.

Nit, honey, one mild suggestion:
If the picture is your construction mode, I have to wonder if you also have a bipedal mode, like Arachnia had. She wasn't always running on 8 legs, you know. You don't have to either...
