The A'millian forces remained near the back of the battle, taking only light damage while letting the Guardians take most the Borg's fire.

Lord Adam watched as the Borg masterfully defended the assualt. He could sense Walper's power enhancing his fleet. It was time.

"Admiral Reilly, you are in command of the fleet. I must face Walper. Alone."

At that, he moves down to the shuttlebay and boards a small shuttlepod. The pod launches and begins its approach on the asteroid. Lord Adam was ready to rapidly press his controls to take evasive manuvers, but none were neccessary. He almost expected the Borg to ignore him; after all, a mere shuttlepod was little threat to them; but they did more than just ignore him: they moved slightly to open up a path.

Robert Walper wanted this battle for some sinister purpose. Lord Adam brought his shuttle to be next to the asteroid and activated the transporter beam. Moments later, he materialized at the base of the centre mountain.

Robert glanced down at the tiny figure far below, sensing his presence more than seeing it.

He leapt from the cliff side, plummeting to the ground below. The rockface was a blur as he fell, his form quickly reaching terminal velocity. The Sith Borg didn't bother slowing his speed. Instead, his feet slammed into the ground full force, kicking up shattered rock and dust that obscured his landing.

Adam looked on impassively. He saw through Walper's attempts to faze or intimidate him.

Emerging from the dissapating dirt cloud, Robert walked towards Adam, stopping less than two meters from him.

"Lord Adam. What an expected pleasure. So we finally meet at last." Robert grinned with contempt. "How's your ship?"

Adam couldn't help but bristle at the comment. In a historic battle, Lord Walper had almost fatally crushed his ship with his new found Force powers. He ignored the question.

"My skills have been honed since our last meeting, Walper."

Robert only nodded slightly. "Good. The greater your power, the further your fall."

Adam activated his weapon, swinging at the Sith with an impressive combinations of strikes. Robert's single blade activated, parrying them all. His second blade hissed to life, then counter attacked by spinning rapidly, his two blades swinging at Adam's legs and neck. But his opponent levitated his body horizontally, avoiding the strikes while parrying the lightsabers away from himself. Walper continued his swings into defensive combinations, putting distance between him and Adam.

"I've been looking forward to this." he said with relish.

*Telarau*

"And the Goa'uld are moving to attack the Imperials' hold on Earth," Galadriel stated.

"Just might give my forces a needed distraction. If the Imperials get drawn up in a war in another galaxy, we could break out."

"Yet the Guardians will benefit from this as well. And if they are able to bring the Empire down, it will mean doom to all."

"So, you're saying we should be fighting the Guardians, and ignore the Empire?"

Galadriel stared grimly. "I only state what is the truth. The Guardians will not cease until all life is extinguished. That is their purpose."

"You... know all this is happening? Right now?"

"As I speak now, the Goa'uld have begun their attack on the outer Imperial defenses, with the aide of the Trolls. With most of the Sith Inquisitor's fleet now back in this galaxy, they are outnumbered thirty to one. It is clear in my sight."

"I'll order what battle groups we have to go after the Guardian swarm in the Fennar sector. It's small, and damaged from an Imperial attack. But we don't have that many ships. Every loss hurts us more than you can imagine. We've been on the defensive since Endor."

Galadriel smiled. "That problem will be soon reconcilled."

*Earth*

The sky was in chaos as a swarm of Goa'uld Death Gliders descended upon the Imperial flotilla now guarding the planet. Over two thousand of the fighters engaged the Imperial TIE fighters, with both groups taking heavy losses. Ships from both sides were obliterated under the defensive fire from Star Destroyers.

In the distance, hundreds of Ha'taks and Class-II ships arced around the Moon and joined the fray, engaging the Imperial ships at insanely close range. Exchanges of energy cannon and turbolaser fire ensued, engulfing both Goa'uld and Imperial ships.

And in the distance sat a huge, black object. The World Devastator Juggernaut could offer little to the battle besides more turbolaser fire; without any new raw materials for months, she could produce no ships to replace the Imperial losses. But the Goa'uld didn't fire at the monstrosity, instead attacking the Imperial fleet directly. But as they did, three Class-II super pyramid ships swooped in over the beast. One of them was the Vengenance.

"All ships are in position, m'lord."

"Deploy the weapon and fire as soon as it is ready."

The tip of the Vengeance's pyramid module opened, revealing an Asgard cannon. It took aim at the World Devastator, and fired a steady stream of massive blue bolts; in mere seconds the Imperial shields were weakinging, enough for transporters to engage.

Inside the Devastator, thousands of Kull Warriors materialized, backed up with the longer-ranged ELF Troopers. Carnage ensued as the Kulls and Imperial Stormtroopers battled it out, deck by deck. However, the sheer volume of the Kulls soon overwhelmed the Stormtroopers, and they had free reign over the ship. A Kull captain commed in the results about twenty minutes into the battle.

"M'lord, we have secured the Devastator. We took heavy casualties in the process, but that doesn't matter. The enemy weapon is ours!"

"Excellent. Move the device away from the planet, and return to Goa'uld space immediately. We'll finish up here."

After another three hours of battling it out with the remaining Imperial defenders, including a Golan Arms battlestation, Ra's forces were themselves in terrible shape. A large portion of his new fleet had been destroyed or were damaged and adrift. But the Imperials had lost, in no small part due to the stolen Asgard weapon. Three star destroyers had also been captured by Kull boarding parties, and were now under Ra's control. Among them were the HIMS Resilence, an Allegiance-class vessel.

"The last Imperial forces have fled the system. All others are destroyed," Srenn reported with pride.

"Splendid! We shall make much use of our Prize in rebuilding the losses here. But I am very sure that the price was worth it. Prepare to return to the Seventh Planet and regroup."

"M'lord, while we are here, Earth is defenseless. The Tauri no longer have the Imperial dogs to protect them! We should do what should have been done nine years ago, when they murdered you. With the Imperial ships, we could slag this world into a molten cinder."

The temptation was there, but Ra did not forget what had happened when he had stumbled upon Valinor, the event that had triggered this chaos. He remembered what the Valar had said to him, and what Galadriel said when she had first decided to go with him.

"And, young Goa'uld, you shall never spoil Earth, the Song of the Valar. For if you were to try, it would surely mean your death. Remember this well."

"M'lord, now is the time."

"No."

"What?"

"We will not attack Earth now. Carry out my orders."

Srenn shook his head in disgust. "Long have the Tauri been our menace! The primitive scum managed to nearly topple us in nine years time! They must be destroyed."

"Do you dare question my commands, Srenn?" Ra said with a flash of his eyes. On his hand, the ribbon device sparked and shocked with power. He was ready to put Srenn in his place.

Suddenly, Srenn produced a zat, and took aim.

"Jaffa! Fire on Earth at once!"

The Jaffa replied, and began working his console, until another Kull shot him dead. He then aimed at Srenn, while others also joined.

"Loyal to the end, aren't we? Do you not see that the Tauri must die?"

"We see," said a clear voice, "That you did not heed the words that were given to you." The voice was too clear and fair for a Kull. Removing his helmet, the soldier revealed himself to be an Elf.

"You won't stop this, Elf!"

Swiftly, Srenn attempted to fire, but was gunned down by Haldir and the other Elves disguised as Kull Warriors. Galadriel's chief of staff then took note of the pale look on Ra's face. First Prime Srenn was dead. A Kull he had actually befriended had tried to kill him. Even soldiers programmed to be loyal unto death could exhibit mortal qualities, given enough free reign.

"I rescued him from the Free Jaffa scum myself."

"Such a being of Darkness does not see such acts for what they are. It would be wise for you to leave. And quickly."

An elf that had taken the ship's controls nodded. "Indeed, there is a large fleet headed this way. Signares read them as Asgard ships."

"Then get us out of here, Firstborn!" Ra barked.

Swiftly, the Goa'uld ships broke orbit, and recalled their remaining fighters. Mere seconds later, a large fleet of Asgard motherships zipped out of hyperspace.

"We're being signalled by the lead ship."

"Display."

"This is Supreme Commander Thor of the Asgard. You will withdraw at once."

"And what do you think we're doing, Thor? Our mission here is done. The Imperials are gone, and the Devastator is ours. That planet is under your control, and that of Galadriel," he added bitterly, "as well. She said not to harm it, and I kept true to that. With some encouragement."

Haldir looked over knowingly.

Finally, the Goa'uld returned to the Seventh Planet, and planned their next move. In Goa'uld space, the Juggernaut was busy consuming a large asteroid belt. In her wake, new Goa'uld ships were being pumped out by her manufacturing plants. In addition, a smaller black object exited the device, and began to join in the harvest...

Meanwhile, aboard the Executor-Class Command Battleship Ares.....

"I've told you, Earth needed reinforcements. And we've been doing nothing but working on paperworks!!!"

Admiral Kraas Hauser slams his fist during the meeting. He was aboard Ares when the Goa'ulds assaulted Earth to handle some matters regarding the integration of Darth Kreshna's personal fleet. In fact, he was packing his stuff, ready to return to Earth when the distress signal reached Ares. Now the top-brasses is holding an emergency meeting.

"Kraas," Grand Admiral Thorne replies, "chill out. The Council is still hesitating to declare a war against the Goa'ulds."

Hauser is taken by surprise, "you gotta' be kidding...."

"Yes, they are still stalling. There is already anti-war demonstrations on Coruscant since those accident with the Borg. Now make no mistake, the Empire is more than capable to engage in a full-scale war against the Goa'ulds -both military and economically, even thought we're fighting against the Guardians, but the politicians-" Thorne spats the word with disgust, "just don't have the balls."

"But Earth IS an Imperial territory. What's wrong with all those peaceniks? It is our goddamn territory, for crying out loud!"

"That's correct. In fact, the Council does allow us to launch an operation to take Earth back, but invading the Goa'ulds is still out of question. In fact, the operation is the main topic of our meeting. Now, gentlemen, the Goa'ulds have left Earth lightly defended, but we shouldn't let us to be overconfident. We will need the 437th fleet and 15th fleet to hyperjump at this point, while......" Thorne points his laser pointer to the Holo-screen while the meeting continues.

On Coruscant.....

Senator Clark just gives a wry smile as his limousine passes through the people demonstrating on the street. Actually the peaceniks have been losing significant support since the Goa'uld's invasion on Earth, and the hardliners is getting more support ever since.

Clark actually feels thankful to the Goa'ulds, since their aggression actually draws the public favor to the hardliners. It was their home the Goa'ulds were attacking, and the popular talkshow host Ross Limbaugh was mocking the peaceniks last night.

Yes, the Council still hesitates to declare a full-scale war against the Goa'ulds, but that would change very soon. In fact, the hardliners are getting stronger influence. Backed by Senator McMahon, Grand Admiral Thorne, and other hardliners, Senator Clark feels confident that he can change the political tides within the Countil.

And eventually, people will call him President Clark.

OOC: Jon, there's a FUCKING GALAXY GUN ON EARTH and you just left?

Yes, remember the early phase of the STGOD? (just before the first Guardians showed up, IIRC) Darth Kreshna is building a galaxy gun on Ra's suggestion (in OOC terms, it was your post  ).

Alright, the Goa'uld's withdrawal can be attributed to the pacifist elves under Galadriel... But the Empire is going to retake Earth. Who's going to defend Earth? The Goa'ulds? Or probably you're in a mood to play as the Asgardians?

See, a Galaxy Gun should be tempting for the Asgardians to occupy Earth. Probably you wanna' play as Thor, while I'm playing as Admiral Hauser?

By the way, I still imagine the Sol System would have a pivotal role regarding to the Guardians and ancient legends. Probably we would accidentaly discover something horrible during our battle? Some ancient legends about the Guardians? Why they showed up on Earth on the first place? What actually drew multiple nations (Borg, Goa'ulds, A'milan, Trolls, Galactic Empire) to colonize the Sol System?

Probably because telepathic characters like Darth Kreshna, Galadriel, Lord Detritus (he's a god, IIC), and the Borg Queen (Lord Walper was still dueling with Petrosjko at that time) sub-consciously heeded some profound telepathic calls from the Sol System?

But let's not rush into a conclusion, right? Just stay with indications, strange phenomenon, and such.

OOC: Uh, Kresh, you don't want to attack Earth now. The Asgard would kick the Empire's ass.

Oh, and at the bottom I'm contriving some reason as to why I left the Galaxy Gun (which I don't even remember, but hey.
--------------------------------
Haldir looks bitter. "The Lady ordered you not to attack Earth."

"I know. As I said, my intent was never to destroy the Tauri, it was to get the Empire's weapons. They had a powerful device called a World Devastator in orbit. With it, I can build the greatest fleet ever imagined." Ra then pours a glass of wine, and smirks. "The Asgard will protect Earth under the Planetary Protections Treaty. In fact, this will work much to our advantage!"

Haldir looks unsure.

"The Asgard have remained neutral in this conflict, but they will defend Earth now that I have left. In their desperation to avoid me from uncovering more Imperial secrets on Earth, they will likely send a superlaser-equipped vessel to destroy the planet. The Empire always did like to implement a Scorched-World policy. Seeing this, the Asgard will not hesitate to decimate the Imperial fleet. Thor is not a fool. I learned that the hard way on occasion."

"And if there were any other items on the surface?" Captain Kar'm asked.

"Then they are out of my reach. Galadriel said I would not destroy Earth, but Manwe himself also made it clear that I'm not to try and land troops either," Ra said with a bitter look. "A precaution to make sure that I would never try and regain the Goa'uld's ancient holdings on Earth. I must admit that regaining all of my-"

"M'lord!" a Kull yelled. "You'd better see this."

Ra got that feeling. The feeling one gets when all hell was about to break loose. Walking out of the room, he soon almost ran into a Human woman. Then, walking up behind her, Ra saw something. A sharp pair of eyes met his. The Goa'uld started to shake in terror at the gaze.

"Again you prove to be a typical despot. No matter. I have come with a friend. You have recovered the World Devastator, and the World is no longer under Imperial control.

Yet things will now happen quickly. The Empire will face their greatest trail, one I feel they will lose. The Guardians also forsee their move on Earth. With their lines open, the Empire will fall. Sdenna moves on Coruscant."

"What? How do you know all this?" Leia exclaimed.

"She's psychic," Ra said lowly. "She knew everything I was doing."

"Even a fool could see what you have done, Ra of the Goa'uld. But we must hurry now. Jaffa, set course for Telperion. Engage cloak."

The Jaffa helmsman looked on in confusion.

"The Moon, you dingbat!"

"Right away, m'lord!"

The Vengenace started to move as she vanished from view, leaving behind a huge Rebel Fleet that had joined the Goa'uld...

OOC: Sorry about the delay in my posting gentlemen, problems unforseen arose, and thanks to the glory of Adam and Scott, I'm able to post again.

Adam, I like you. I have decided, that when I become omnipotent ruler of the multiverse in 300 decades time, I will let you fuck my sister.

Now...what was I doing...
-----------------------

In the vast depths of Hyperspace, the Guardia armada drifted. They had been gathered from the various fleets in the days which had passed, and mustered here for their grand assault.

The ships ranged in size, from squadrons of their smaller fighters and gunboats, to their full size System Seige vessals. They waited for the command which would most assuredly come.

Thousands of Lightyears away, sitting in a mostly unused portion of Hyperspace sat a small fleet of three hundred battleships and cruisers. The dark one watched the scene through a holographic viewer on the bridge of the flagship. He didn't need to use the Guardian's technology to see this, he could sense when things of import were to occur. He had sensed the entrance into this Reality of a being whose power was almost a match for his own, a being who could sense his machinations, he was not careful, and could possibly unravel everything he worked so long to build.

Archmagus, the fleet will begin their asault soon

The dark one merely nodded, a wave of his hand to the sound of the voice sent a Guardian screaming in pain and anguish as his body was torn from the inside out.

I was aware of that, Commander. Sub-Commander, you are not Captain of this vessal, serve me well,or share the idiots fate.

Upon the viewer, the Guardian armada began to waver and fade from Hyperspace, into Real Space, thirty thousand ships of the line strong, the assault upon the Corruscant System had begun...

He gathered his robes about him, he wouldn't worry about the battle. It would more than likely leave them into destruction, but there was a chance the Guardians would capture the Pheonix host, and when they did, he would enact his own plans.

Signal the fleet, we are setting course for Planet U.V. 6 in the Corvus Minor system. There is a Amellian base near there, plus we can incite the Trollish Empire at the same time. Best possible speeds..

The ships began to move through Hyperspace, as the dark one watched, his own Reality Warping magicks came into play, changing the bioships of the Guardians, into replica's of the Go'uld's own ships. The battle would be a slaughter for the Amilians, he was sure...though the risk of expending and drawing upon Reality as much as he was doing of late, would most assuredly draw attention he did not desire.

Hold on.

How powerful the Asgard actually is? Yes, I read this thread, but do you have any numbers for Asgardian firepower? How can it be more powerful than the Empire?

(At least the HTL is established to have 200 Gigatons of firepower. )

Nevertheless, the Empire still have the numerical advantage. So I'm going to attack nonetheless. Heh heh.

(Seriously, the Empire will be stupid for not retaking Earth. Imagine Hawaii being occupied by the USSR. Won't the US attempt to take it back?)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sol System...

An Eclipse-Class Star Battleship, escorted by five Allegiance-Class Star Destroyers and seven Imperial-Class Star Destroyers, are jumping out of hyperspace behind Earth's moon. Aboard the Eclipse, Captain Copeland nods with satisfaction, "the intelligence report is correct; Earth is populated with Asgard motherships. Let's waste no time, people. Fire on the lead mothership."

Obviously the Asgardian has detected the Empire as they are scrambling into defense, but it is too late; the lead mothership explodes in a brilliant shockwave as the Eclipse's superlaser scores the hit. Captain Copeland is not sure whether the Asgardian Supreme Commander named 'Thor' is actually on-board the annihilated mothership, but at least they have decapacitated the enemy's command ship.

The massive Star Battleship quickly re-charges its main cannon; the superlaser is set on low firepower setting -insufficient to destroy a planet but more than enough to vaporize a starship- to allow faster re-charge. Star Destroyers quickly advances and breaks through the ranks of the motherships, with full HTL barrage and swarms of TIE Fighters and Bombers. On the other side of the planet, Acclamators suddenly jump out of hyperspace, unloading troops and armors onto Earth.

The Asgardians are caught by surprise.

Coruscant...

Little does the Guardian know that the AEGIS Defense Network has detected and tracked their task force which is advancing towards Coruscant. Soon, the entire planet is alerted. Heavy civilian traffic back and forth to the planet is soon ceased as the Planetary Defense Shield is closed tight. Stormtroopers are marching through the street on Coruscant, preparing necessary defenses just in case the shield is breached -a very unlikely case, however. Meanwhile, Imperial Navy's 523rd fleet, 87th fleet, and 51st fleet are ready to defend their capital from the alien invasion.

While his limousine is crusing the suddenly empty roads of Coruscant, Senator Clark contemplates. Now those disgusting aliens shall witness the true might of the Empre.

In Palpatine Memoriam Hospital, Darth Kreshna still lies uncionscious on his hospital bed.

The Guardians exited Hyperspace into Real Space within seconds, just as the first salvo of Imperial weapons fire tore into thier shielded hulls. Hundreds of ships breached and exploded as return fire was given onto the Imperial ships, even as hundreds of perfectly sphereical explosions light up space above Coruscant.

Biolasers and turbo lasers flickered through the space of lightminutes as the battle fleets drew closer to each other. The first ships of the Guardian's ships to attack where the small gunboats and frigates, their weapons a match for the Imperial's frigates and corvettes. Phasing into exsistence behind them, bringing even heavier weapons to bear on the first of the Imperial ships, the light cruisers and battle galleons , followed by the heavy cruisers, battle dreadnaughts and finally, the truly impressive dreadnaughts, ships capable of capturing entire solar systems and keeping them well under thumb, poured thier added firepower into the Imperial ranks.

Losses were heavy on both sides, the burned out, holed through hulks of Imperial and Guardian ships littered space, brushed aside by the particle shields of the other ships.

The Guardian's firepower raked the Imperial ships as they moved to drive a wedge between the Imperial forces, to open a path up for the System Seigers heavy weapons to turn upon the planetary shields...

*Earth.*

The initial shock of the Imperial attack had now been turned to their doom. Asgard ships retaliated with a vengenace, causing ship after ship of the Imperial fleet to explode. Meanwhile, Ra watched the spectacle from his flagship, orbiting under cloak behind the Moon.

"The Asgard have the greater firepower, but there are too many Imperial ships."

Leia looked over. "Leave the Imps to me!"

As more Imperial ships tryed to drive in closer to Earth, an Alllegiance-class vessel exploded under the combined fire of five Beliskner-class motherships.

"They're hailing us."

A holographic image appeared, one of an alien never before seen by Imperial eyes.

"This is Supreme Commander Thor of the Asgard. You will end your attack on Earth, or you will be destroyed."

"Earth is Imperial territory! And no matter how many ships you have, Mister Thor, we will make sure it does not remain in enemy hands." the admiral replies. Closing the transmission, he looked over to a subordinate. "Prepare to fire."

The superlaser on the massive battleship began to power up, ready to blast the continent of Europe into ash and lava. As Asgard ships continued their barrage, another Imperator exploded, and then another. Finally, they focused fire on the Eclipse, wearing down at its shields.

***
*Mare Moscovience, Luna*

While the battle raged on, Galadriel and Ra had beamed down to an interesting place on the Lunar surface, dressed in sealed armor for protection.

"The signal we got is this way."

"I know where it is."

Ra's eyes flashed, although that couldn't be seen under his mask.

***
"Superlaser targeting complete, weapon at maximum power. We are ready to fire at your command."

The Admiral took a shot of Corellian whiskey. "Then by all means, Lieutenant, fire."

The superlaser beam then activated, but something went wrong. A small light passed through the shields, and down into the superlaser mechanism. The bow of the Eclipse spat out diffused energy in multiple directions, and finally the bow of the monstrous ship exploded. The bridge suddered, and alarms blared all over the ship.

"What the fuck just happened?" the Admiral yelled.

"I don't know, damn it!"

Then, slipping in, an elegant MonCal cruiser descended over a flanking Star Destroyer. The two exchanged fire. In the distance, a good portion of the Rebel Fleet attacked, focusing fire on the Eclipse.

"Rebel Scum! The Rebels are helping the Asgard!"

The Admiral was beside himself. He couldn't believe that the Rebels still had a force to muster, let alone the gall to side with the Goa'uld. "Traitors. Filthy traitors! Without the superlaser we cannot do this swiftly, but it can still be done. These are my orders. Commence order Base Delta Zero. Now, now, now."

The Imperial ships stopped firing at the Asgard and Rebels, instead attacking the surface. While most of the Asgard ships moved in to block their shots, some went down...

...only to vanish in the upper atmosphere.

***
"I expect you never imagined, looking up at the Moon for all those timeless years, that one day you'd be walking on it."

"Indeed, I never expected I would reach this place. But let us continue. We are drawing near," Galadriel replied, moving on.

Soon, Galadriel came upon an area littered with sharp rocks.

Ra picked up a rock, and examined it closely. Some kind of carving could be faintly made out. Then, he saw the carving more closely. It looked like Nordic runes.

"It's covered in Asgard runes, but I can't read them."

"Not Asgard, but Cirth runes. It is more ancient, but still used by many peoples on Middle-Earth. It may be that, at a time, the Guardians' ancestors used these Runes in their writings."

"So that's got to mean something."

"Indeed it does," Galadriel answered, pointing to something. "Look."

Ra gazed over, to see what appeared to be a door.

***
The Eclipse's captain shook his head in disgust. "Sir, our shots are not getting through. They're vanishing in the atmosphere. Cause unknown."

The Admiral took another shot of whiskey. "Some wreched power stays Earth's fate; it won't let us destroy the planet."

As the battle raged on, Galadriel closed her eyes for a moment. "The power of the Valar will protect Earth."

The turbolaser shots, each more than powerful enough to mimic the effects of the Dino Killer asteroid, would have caused an extintion event on Earth. Yet not one shot reached the surface, instead dissipating through some unknown force.

Pinned between the Rebel and Asgard fleets, the Imperial line started to break, and their morale was lost. Suddenly, another Asgard ship arrived, one of the O'Niell-class. In a few shots, it obliterated a Star Destroyer, and then turned its fire on the Eclipse.

The Admiral had finally realized that there was no hope for the Empire's grand crusade to retake Earth. "Divert power from weapons to shields! Signal retreat!"

The Asgard were simply too powerful. A fleet of about 10 Motherships had been enough to hold the Imperials with losses. But with a small fleet of 8 Rebel ships now bearing down on their line, it was too much. The Imperal ships arced around the planet, quickly hitting relativistic speeds as they made their escape. The Rebels followed.

***
Galadriel went up to the door, and examined it. Like the rock, it was inscribed with runes.

"It says... In 1231 of the First Age, I Sdenna Asarr and my followers departed from Middle-Earth to seek the other Children of Illuvatar. For it was written that these others live among the many stars of the sky. I wrote these runes in a hope that others of us would follow. This is the Temple of Datasse. Say farewell to the World behind you, and embrace the great journey."

"Uh, farewell to the world? What?"

As Ra said this, the Earth slowly rose in the distance.

"Long ago I said farewell to the circle of the World, when I went into the West. I did not regret it then, or now."

"You mean you can never go back?"

"It is what is written; the Firstborn of Illuvatar sailed into the West, never to return to Middle-Earth. Valinor is our home."

Ra shrugged. "Then that's what it's talking about. Tell Earth bye-bye."

Galadriel looked over oddly, but for once Ra may have been making sense. She looked up at Earth, and spoke. "Namárië."

And just like that, the massive door slid upwards, revealing a chamber.

***
The Admiral spoke to reassure his crew. "They think this is over, we'll just arrive with a bigger fleet. And a Death Star. We will find a way around whatever protects Earth."

Suddenly, the Captain yelled. "Sir!"

Out of nowhere, Ra's fleet decloaked, and began firing at the Imperial ships.

The Admiral was not impressed with the Goa'uld's efforts. "Those snakes think they can stop us?"

Just then, a Rebel cruiser opened up on the Eclipse's shields, while a group of Ha'taks attacked the ship as well. For a long minute the vessels continued their attack on the great vessel's shields, until finally, the beast exploded in a flame that lit the midday sky on Earth. With this pitfall, the Imperial ships descended into chaos, picking their own targets while some attempted to get away. Nearly every ship that tried to escape was destroyed.

On several Star Destroyers that had lost shields, Kull Warriors beamed in, and began massacring Stormtroopers and crews. A few smaller vessels self-destructed rather than face surrender. When the dust settled, the Imperial attack on Earth was routed, and the remaining Imperials fled with their tails tucked between their legs.

Victory was at hand...

But not quite...

Admiral Ackbar arbitrarily moved his chair around the bridge of Home Two, the replacement of the old Rebel flagship destroyed during an Imperial ambush at Oovo IV.

"We're reading imbound hyperspace signatures!"

From the Tantive V, Princess Leia sighed. "We'll just have to hold the line, then."

The Rebel and Goa'uld ships formed a defensive formation about a 100,000 klicks off the Moon.

"All ships, this is Tantive V. Hold the line as best you can. Deploy all fighters, and stand by. Defend Earth and its moon at all costs!"

A cloud of X-wings, Y-wings, A-wings, and B-wings, joined by an even larger cloud of Goa'uld Death Gliders, spawned from the combined fleet. As the capital ships moved into position, the nine remaining Beliskners, led by the new O'Niell-class ship, joined the fleet!

"This is Thor. We share a common enemy, and wish to lend our assistance."

Leia nodded at the hologram. "Glad to have you along, Thor. We're giving you our targeting data."

Haldir now commanded the Goa'uld section of the fleet. As he stood on the bridge of the Vengeance, a Jaffa called.

"Captain Haldir! The fleet is returning to realspace."

A literal cloud of Imperial ships exited Hyperspace several million klicks out.

"So it begins."

Adam continued to keep distance between himself and his opponent, as Walper circled menacingly. Despite all his experience and knowledge, he began to realize he may have made a mistake. He had counted upon Robert's powers being sufficiently drained to be assaulted directly. And the Sith/Borg was extending his powers, and his concentration to enhance his forces against the Guardian fleet. But Adam realized the drain wasn't enough. Walper's reserves of Force strength was still vast. The A'Millian gave a fleeting thought to who else might've or would make the same mistake. Robert's second blade had returned to his belt. Apparently he recognized Adam's train of thought. Robert moved forward quickly, too quickly for Adam to avoid. Swinging his blade rapidly in vertical movements, he lashed out, striking the A'Millian's struggled blocks with seemingly little effort. A backhand saber swing impacted Adam's personal protective shield, sending him reeling.

Robert continued to advance, enjoying the ease of controlling the fight. "Lord Adam, you disappoint me. Your old friend holds you in such high esteem..."

Adam again hesistated. What did Walper know of his Lady? But his hesistation was further interrupted by a mental call from the Guardians.

Walper's ambitions and plans threaten us. Kill him.

And with that, the A'Millian felt his inner self swell, as if being filled with energy. The Guardians were increasing his abilities to compensate for his mismatch against the Borg. But this cost them some of their strength against the Borg forces battling their ships. The result was a interesting, though delicate balance of power. The Guardians weakened their power by boosting Adam's, while Robert weakened his own to boost the Borg armada.

Robert swung at Adam, but the A'Millian blade blocked it. Robert registered minor surprise.

"It's not over yet." Adam said. And with that, his hand shot forward, launching flames of fire at the Borg. The Sith's shields flared as he flipped upwards away from the fire. He landed solidly on his feet, but Adam had quickly teleported right behind Walper's location. He landed a powerful kick to his back that sent the Borg leader down to the ground. The Sith barely rolled out of the way as Adam's sword sliced where he had lay. Robert quickly regained his feet, his opponent no longer backing down.

Adam smiled. "The game's afoot, Walper."

Robert, his face reflecting rage, snarled back. "Young fool. Your skills are no match for the power of the dark side!" Robert raised his free hand, and green tinged Force lightening leapt forward. But the A'Millian's own hand met the blast head on, creating a compression wave that kept the dark energy at bay.

The clash of energies continued for several seconds, then dissapated.

"As you can see my powers are far greater than you anticipated, Sith." Adam spat the word with contempt.

Robert's eyes blazed with Dark Side energy. "So be it...wizard." And with that, the Borg activated his second saber and moved in full force, swinging and attacking with ferocious intensity.

Adam sweated as Walper's powerful strikes continued one after the other, almost too fast for him to stop. Only the Guardian's fueling his abilities and strength allowed him to maintain his defenses. Nonetheless, he was forced to back away from the Sith Lord's attacks. So be it. he thought. Walper's incredible power came from his link to the Collective. The more the A'Millian could tempt him to concentrate on the battle here, the better the Guardian forces could do in the space engagement above. Unfortunately, the Guardians must tax themselves to boost my abilities Adam grudgingly admitted. Lord Adam had never craved power like the adversary before him. He prefered wisdom and tempered strength to maintain order and peace. He had no wish to conquer or sense of vanity fueling the need to seek ways of increasing his own capabilities. But the Sith Lord before him thought of nothing else, and had thusfar achieved impressive results. Absolute power corrupts absolutely he thought.

Robert swiped at Adam's feet, but he avoided the strike in an impressive backflip. Following through on the swing, Robert struck out with his other saber, missing the A'Millian's chest by mere inches. Avoiding the stab, Adam was vulnerable for a split second, and the Sith Lord took immediate advantage. With his enhanced Borg strength and speed, he landed a kick to Adam's chest, hurling him several yards into the ground. Robert laughed mockingly. "Is this truely the best you can do?"

"Your arrogance blinds you, Walper." Adam replied, looking upwards at the fighting fleets. Robert also looked up, and in that moment of distraction, Adam hurled a nearby boulder directly at the Borg's face. But Walper's hand came up too fast, catching the boulder in an invisible grip, stopping it instantly. Robert only laughed...then he was promptly knocked to the ground by another rock that struck him from behind. His shield flared from the impact, protecting him for the most part from any real damage. He leapt to his feet, but not before Adam had closed the distance, his weapon swinging fast. He managed to get his right saber up to block the blow, but Adam twisted his own weapon, sending the lightsaber through the air. It landed some distance away, deactivated.

"Clever." Robert remarked with restrained rage. How he wished to crush this fool so effortlessly as he knew he could. But he couldn't take his concentration off the Borg fleet fighting the enemy. He knew that's what they wanted. The moment he did so, the Guardian fleet would quickly take advantage and either destroy or heavily hinder the Borg forces. So much the better. Robert thought. He didn't mind taking his time with the A'Millian.

He swung at Adam's head at the exact moment he decided to as well. Neither weapon would've blocked the other, so naturally they locked their free hands on the wrist of the other. Adam strained with all his might, but he knew a physical fight he could not win. He could enhance his strength with his abilities, but Walper's artificial construction and superhuman strength was combined with his own power, making him the stronger. With a quick snap and turn, Adam's blade contected with Walper's saber wielding wrist. The blade did not penetrate the Borg shield, but coupled with the ackward position of the fighters, it did knock the last saber free from his grip. Unfortunately, the interaction with the shield also lost Adam's own blade. Both weapons were flung to the nearby ground.

Without hesistation, Adam did a spin around kick aiming for Robert's ribs. But Robert locked his arm around the A'Millian's leg and held it in a iron grip. Swinging with his fists, Adam struck Robert in the face several times. The Borg snarled his rage, his free hand gripping the side of Adam. He lifted Adam up, turned and threw him against the nearby rock face. The impact knocked dirt and pebbles off the loose areas. Adam clutched his side, in obvious pain. Robert walked over, grabbing him by the shoulder and forcing him up to his feet against the wall. With incredible speed and strength, the Borg's fists pounded the sides of the A'Millian. His arms were a blur as one hit after the other landed. The sheer force of the attack was causing Adam's body to crumple the rock behind him. Only his shield prevented the rock from turning his body into jelly. Having struck Adam at least twenty times, Robert again grabbed him by the shoulder, turning him slightly away from the rock face. He pulled back his fist, and with a single blow hurled his opponent through the air to land several yards distant. Walper smiled with satisfaction and strided over.

Adam curled up, his internal body screaming about the punishment the Borg's fists had caused. While his personal shield could protect him from typical attacks, the drone's shields interacting with his cancelled eachother out. So the hits had landed upon his own flesh. The effect worked both ways, but it did not help him now. Robert leaned over, grabbing the the A'Millian by the scruff of his outfit and one leg. He lifted Adam up, and hurled him through the air, slamming upside down against the rockface once again. Rock crumbled and caved from the impact.

Walper jumped up, landing directly over his oppenent's limp form. He put Adam in a vice like headlock, grinning as he did so. A bone in Adam's neck cracked ever so noticeably.

"You hear that, Lord Adam? That is the sound of inevitability. The sound of your death." Another louder crack followed his words. "Goodbye, young fool." Robert finished in his ear.

Adam, barely concious, reached out to the Guardians. He knew the battle would be over in seconds if he could not break loose. The Guardian's energy answered, feeding the A'Millian fountains of strength that brought him to levels he had never before experienced. Using the power, Adam reinforced his damaged body, his hands moving to clutch Walper's arm around his neck.

Adam allowed himself a slight amount of anger at the Borg's continued insults of age. "My age..." Adam whispered, pulling Robert's arm down slightly "...makes you...a CHILD!" And with that, the A'Millian focused his mind. A powerful burst of energy hurled him upwards and towards the rockface, slamming Walper between him and the solid surface. The Borg's shields temporarily overloaded from the strain, the powerful impact absorbed by his body. Both plummeted to the ground, Adam landing on his feet while Robert hit the ground face first. Robert tried grabbing Adam's foot, but he backflipped away and his hand extended to catch his fallen weapon that flew to him. He swung it around his waist, gaining momentum with it as he stepped towards to half risen Borg. The weapon connected solidly with Robert's chin, hurling him into the air. He landed with a bone crunching thud several meters away.

Robert rolled over, pushing himself to his feet. He turned to face Adam, his eyes blazing with Dark Side energy. Hatred flowed through his body.

"YOUR FOOL!!" he roared. "I WILL MAKE YOU FLEE LIKE A COWARD!"

"I'm no coward." Adam replied with conviction and self confidence.

Robert glanced up to the mountain of rock that dominated the center of the asteroid dome. Raising his hands above his head, a massive crack echoed across the area. A piece of the mountain, the size of a skyscraper, was torn from the side of the rockface. It began to to fall directly over him. But it stopped when making contact with his hands, locked in the invisible grip of the Sith's Force manipulation.

"THEN DIE AS YOU DESERVE TO!

Walper's hands shot forward, and the massive rock followed suit. The A'Millian didn't even bother trying to counter the effort his opponent put towards him. Instead, he leapt to the side, his jump unnatural as he flew like a winged creature of the sky. The monstrous rock slammed into the ground, crumbling aparted as it gouged a crater into the surface almost a hundred meters across.

Well, I succeeded in making him angry thought Adam. Now it's a matter of surviving his rage.

In space above, the Borg fleet began to noticeably lose ground as less of Walper's concentration compensated for their capabilities against the Guardian ships.

Walper glared at the A'Millian. Despite his utter confidence in his superiority over this individual, the battle wasn't going as easy as it should. Reaching out with the Force, Robert began to hurl the broken pieces of the mountain piece he had thrown at Adam. Despite being broken up, the pieces it had fallen into were still the size of houses or larger.

Adam dived to the side as a house sized boulder flew over his head. He'd barely completely the dive and roll, when another large rock headed towards him. He leapt into the air, and the other rock he'd sensed coming smashed into the other, shattering both into dirt and pebbles. Waving his hand, he stopped numerous smaller pieces from hitting him.

Landing on his feet, the A'Millian glanced up to see the virtual storm of boulders now heading towards him. Despite his strained abilities, Lord Walper was putting further effort into killing him. Adam knew he couldn't avoid them all, there were just too many. Instead, he accelerated himself away from the largest incoming, but kept himself in front of it. The boulder hit his feet, but his own speed kept the hit from seriously hurting him. Instead of fighting Walper's intent with the projectiles, Adam assisted the effort. They increased in speed, heading directly towards the domed edge. At the last moment, Robert realized Adam's intention, but too late. Adam hurled his weapon outwards, slamming into the glass dome surface. The force of the hit cracked the dome, and a quick energy burst opened up a hole in the glass where Adam was directly headed. His body passed safely through the hole, assisted by the now howling vacuum of space tearing out the atmopshere. The rock at his feet slammed into the glass a split second later, opening up a hole the size of a small ship. It was followed by the dozens of others behind it. The result was spectacular. The entire face of the domed cracked and then gave way. In seconds, the entire area of the domed asteroid was turned into a howling hurriane of moving air. Every loose piece of matter was blown towards the now opened face of the dome. Including Lord Walper. The wave of debris and two individuals were swept into the void of space, right into the center of the fighting fleets.

*Coruscant*

Senator Clarke had arrived at the Imperial Senate, completely calm as virtually everyone else was frightened and moving around in terror. The threat of Guardian attack hung over Coruscant like a dark cloud, making the very air heavy and full of fear. Slowly, he made his way down a corridor. At the end of the door were two Senate Guards, similar to the ones that protected the Old Republic's leaders, but of course not, as that corps had been made into the Imperial Guards that protected Palpatine. The guards opened the door. At the large desk, Supreme Chancellor Saan sat with an angry look on her face.

"Sit," she snapped.

Clarke took a seat as an aide activated a hologram.

"And you were saying, Captain?"

"The fleet was decimated. We took the aliens... called the Asgard, by surprise, but it was to no avail. Only three Star Destroyers out of twelve escaped. Our main fleet is moving into position."

"I take it there is more?"

"Yes, Madame Chancellor. Coming to the Asgard's aid were both the Goa'uld and the... Rebel Alliance..."

"The Rebels are helping them?" Saan yelled. The Supreme Chancellor was simultaneously shocked and disgusted by that news.

"That's correct, Madame Chancellor."

"Then it's clear what we need to do, Madame Chancellor," Grand Admiral Thorne stated arrogantly. "We send more ships this time to backed up our forces about to engage the allied fleet."

Saan looked the Grand Admiral in the eye. "Grand Admiral, I am fucking tired of sending more and more ships to continue this blood feud we have against the Goa'uld. The Goa'uld are no concern to me. Their entire fleet would break against an Outer Rim world like water on rock. If the two fleets we've sent don't do their job, I won't risk sending more ships to capture one planet!

And isn't it clear to you yet? The Guardians are about to attack Corsucant! That's right, let me say it again. Right here. Coruscant. We need every last ship to defend this planet against the Guardian fleet. Earth, a planet we held that is in another galaxy, is expendable! Coruscant is not!"

"That attack cannot go unanswered. We have to make the point to the Asgard clear," Clarke stated.

Saan nodded in feigned understanding, and laughed. "Yes, yes. Has it even crossed your mind that the Asgard may simply be protecting Earth now that we've lost it? That war isn't on their minds? Look at yourself! Every day our list of enemies grows ever larger. The Rebels, what's left of them; the Goa'uld, who fight like cowards but fight us nonetheless; the Trolls, who brought our operations in the Milky Way to a virtual halt; the A'millians, and their coconspirators, the Guardians, who are on our very doorstep; and now, after all of that, you want to extend our war efforts to include the Asgard! How many more enemies are we going to add to that list, Senator? How many?

Yes, Mister Clarke, in all likelyhood you will be nominated to be the new President, but I am the Supreme Chancellor! I make the decisons, and everything in my mind says this is suicidal! No. We will leave Earth to its fate."

Clarke was uneasy. Indeed, even if he got the Presidential victory, he would still have to work alongside the Supreme Chancellor. Saan still had three years left of her term, and could be reelected for another four. The longtime Senator for the Twi'lek homeworld, she was very popular even before she was nominated as Supreme Chancellor. Clarke shifted uncomfortably, and spoke with concern. "But Madame Chancellor! We can handle the Guardians! We can stop them dead in their tracks! We must bring-"

Saan stood to her feet, and sneered at Clarke. "I have made my decision! If you have a problem with that, then..." She smirked, "too bad."

Clarke and Thorne stormed out of the room. Saan then looked up at the sky. "Prepare for battle. Deploy all available forces at once."

*The Moon*

Galadriel entered the open doorway. As she did, she felt the characteristic tingle of a forcefield. Indeed, her suit controls read a breathable atmosphere. Ra entered as well, also noticing the effects.

"This structure has a breathable atmosphere. Interesting..."

Galadriel removed her suit helmet, but kept it handy. "We should move with alacrity. The fleet is in danger, and time grows short."

Proceeding down a wide corridor, the duo didn't see anything of interest for some time. It was a long, winding passage, mostly lined with runes and engravings. Then, they came into a wide circular foyer. On the floor was a great pattern, and a ring of runes set in the stone. Galadriel started to read them as Ra stepped too close.

Galadriel spoke, but her voice went from soft to virtually yelling. "Do not step on the Circle!"

Ra's foot had landed on the very edge of ring of stone. He looked up at Galadriel in fear. Her eyes closed as she tried not to say something she'd regret. Ra then quickly removed his foot. The stones seemed to light up. Something happened...

".....and when humans began to multiply, we did not look on them as potent. They were unlearned of our mastering of body and soul and magic. They could not decipher our glorious language of telepathy and we have long eschewed their means of communication limited to feeble noise and grunts.

As we assumed the humans were unintelligent and bound to their material existence, we looked on them as slow, fragile, and weak. But the humans soon travelled the space in mechanical vessels, and so were no longer slow. Then they came in metal shells, and were no longer fragile. And soon they came in vessels capable of hurling balls of fire, and so were no longer weak.

May Eru the Iluvatar have mercy on us, for we have been ignorant to the utmost strength of the humans! It is their ingenuity that has greater authority than our magic over the nature and the universe. As the humans continue to dominate, we know the balance is in danger."

- Ancient War Journal. 33:42

They call it 'Clash of the Titans', yet the title has not lived up to its namesake until the Battle of Coruscant.

The Guardians have been handling other races with kid's gloves, as the ships they have previously sent have been nothing but frigates. Here one can see the full display of Guardian's power; Battle Galleons, Heavy Cruisers, Battle Dreadnaughts, and finally the gigantic System Siege Vessels that makes even a mighty Star Destroyer look small in comparison.

And the most horribly notable thing; the larger a Guardian vessel is, the more gotesque and life-like their appearance is. Even a Heavy Cruiser looks more like a giant amoeba in space, with formless limbs wave and pulsate as the living ship floats through.

Fortunately, the Galactic Empire is not without power on their own. Long people has questioned the late Emperor Palpatine's purpose in building such excessively colossal fleet, as well as arming certain power groups with military-grade vessels. Private entities like Darth Kreshna and the Corporate Sector Authority is more than capable to conquer a nation, and they are still nothing compared to the vastness of the Imperial Navy. The overkill design philosophy adopted by the Empire had also been questioned many times in the past; even a mere destroyer belongs to the Empire outsizes and outguns most cruisers and battleships of other civilzations.

Today, all the questions are answered.

It is an awesome view as assorments of Imperial warships are filling the sky over Coruscant. From the small, one mile-long Star Destroyers to the larger Star Cruisers to the even larger Star Battleships to gigantic super-battleships like Sovereigns, Eclipses, and Executors. The Ancient Guardians and the Galactic Empire trade fire in a massive battle as the space is filled with death and destruction. And now, Imperial Citizens start to feel thankful of the late Galactic Emperor Palpatine and his lackey Grand Moff Tarkin, for they were the architects behind the massive war machine of the Empire.

The battle itself still rages violently as a System Siege Vessel is being torn to pieces by heavy turbolaser barrages from a nearby Sovereign. Not far away, a Guardian Heavy Cruiser is being dragged by combined tractor beams from several Allegiance-Class Star Destroyers; smashed onto the impenetrable planetary shield of Coruscant until it becomes nothing than organic-looking smear. It is not said that the Empire does not suffer losses of its own, as an Eclipse Star Battleship starts exlpoding under heavy barrage from a Guardian Battle Dreadnaught that is looming ahead.

The Guardians are space gods; a mythical legend from the past, while the Empire represents the pinnacle of human ingenuity. It is a war between the gods and the machines, ancient terror versus modern military force, biological against mechanical, and magic versus technology.

But as the battle is progressing, it is getting clearer that the Empire manages to hold their ground against the tidal wave of Guardian vessel. Imperial fleet strength and industrial might is just too enormous to ignore, and the Guardians start losing their confidence in their assault on the Imperial home planet that stands defiantly amidst the fray. The System Siege Vessels are pounding on Coruscant Planetary shield, escorted by Battle Galleons and Heavy Cruisers, only to be shredded to pieces by superlasers being fired by a formation of Sovereign. The Battle Galleons retaltiales quickly, but the superlaser is too fast in destroying their targets. Many Star Destroyers and Star Cruisers are destroyed in their attempt to stop the Guardian's System Siegers, but the bet has paid-off well. Abandoning their initial goal, the Guardians now turn their attention to the Imperial ships defending Coruscant.

However, officers of Coruscant Planetary Defense Force is suddenly noticing something wrong. The shield. The mighty, impenetrable planetary shield that is protecting the Imperial Capital is losing power in certain spots.

A hole starts widening above Coruscant Metro; the district that houses important places like the Imperial Palace, the Palpatine Square, the Xizor-Astoria Residences, and the Palpatine Memorial Hospital. The place where the Sith Inquisitor Darth Kreshna lays unconscious on his bed.

The problem is handled quickly as the Planetary Defense is switching the shield to auxilliary power, and slowly the gaping hole is closing again.

Too late.

The Guardians are launching thousands of their Shog-Oths; their blasphemous, blobbish, formless terror onto the planet's surface. Some are unfortunate enough to splat on the now-closing planetary shield, but most of them are safely reaching the Coruscant Metro District.

There is a traitor within the Empire.

OOC: Alright, Dark Silver, it's your turn. Let's have a ground battle!!

EDIT: added the part on the System Siege Vessels.

*Earth*

While the battle for the pinnacle of Imperial civilization begins, the cradle of Human life itself is underway in another galaxy.

"The snakes and Rebel Scum think they have achieved a great victory... they haven't even seen our main force," the fleet commander said arrogantly.

The Empire had truly gone mad. They had decided to send two entire fleets to attack the small Asgard force, as well as the Goa'uld's expeditionary force. Two Sovereigns formed the core of the enemy fleet, each accompanied by four squadrons of star destroyers and various support ships. While the Goa'uld posessed over a hundred ships, they were considered vastly outnumbered. But the Goa'uld did have one trick up their sleeves...

On the Vengeance, Haldir contacted Princess Leia.

"I believe we have a way to attack the Imperial ships. Ra had planned not to use these, as they are in short supply. However, I believed the need was sufficient."

"What is it?"

"A weapon that will even the odds against the Empire," Captain Car'm replied.

As the fighters advanced toward a cloud of TIE's, the leader called all fighters into formation. "All ships, this is Gold Leader. Form up and assume attack pattern five. Forward shields to maximum. We're going in!"

The fighters went forward, pouncing the TIE's mid-flight. Meanwhile, flights of Y-wings and Al'kesh bombers weaved between the chaos. The fighters' only goal was to cover the bombers as they unloaded on the Imperial ships.

"The bombers are inbound on their targets."

"All ships target the flanking Imperial vessels, and fire."

The combined fleet unloaded on the nearest Star Destroyers. The combined fire of Asgard and Alliance ships brought several Star Destroyers down, while Goa'uld ships brought several more down by simply smothering the targets in energy cannon fire. The Imperials returned fire, blowing away several Ha'taks in the process. As the fleet exchanged fire, the bomb trucks made it past the furball, and were clear to attack the now-distracted capital ships. The Y-wings swooped down over a Venator, firing massive volleys of proton torps. The shields held against the two flights' attack, but the distraction was enough for an Al'kesh to slip by. Its real target was an Imperator in the distance. The Goa'uld bomber unleashed several bombs, and broke hard. The bombs impacted, detonating in explosions that outshone the sun. The explosion only grew as the ISD's hypermatter core ruptured.

"You took that ship down. How?"

"We've been saving our stocks of Naquada-enhanced nukes until now. We would have used them in the event of an invasion, well, this is definitely an invasion!"

"Whatever it is, it's working. We were losing ground to those superlaser-equipped vessels. Now we're matching them for losses."

Indeed, the two Sovereigns were slowly picking off the allied fleet ship by ship. A flight of Al'keshes penetrated deep enough into the enemy lines, and spewed forth their deadly cargo. Nearly a hundred gigaton-level bombs hit the shields at once, opening a small hole in the shields that the Rebel ships exploited. Long-range volleys came in from an MC-80 and Home Two, sending the superlaser-wielding giant to its fiery death. Despite the horrible losses of Al'keshes to point-defense fire, the gambit was working.

The floor had illuminated to a rich white glow from Ra's footstep. In addition, a slight shudder had vibrated throughout the structure, followed by some kind of whisp that flowed through the room. Ra felt somewhat chilled by the sensation, but Galadriel was outright taken aback by the feeling. Ra looked at the figure forming in the center of the foyer when Galadriel grabbed him by the arm.

"Run, you fool, run!"

As they ran down another corridor, the dark figure had fully materialized, and walked after them. Running down many corridors and rooms, they stopped in another large, circular room.

"I think we lost it," Ra said between pants.

"You cannot lose such a creature, Ra, I have faced them before. Look," she said, pointing at a circular pillar. Atop it was a small item.

"What is that?"

Galadriel waved her hand across the item. It lit up, and suddenly the room was filled with holographic images of stars and galaxies. Also overlaid were locations of Guardian worlds and other items. Pondering about the Phoenix, Galadriel realized that the item had responded to her thoughs, displaying information about it. Moving her hand, the device shut off.

"This oracle may be the key to ending this war. It spoke of a way of... 'exorcising' the Phoenix."

Ra then picked up the device as the room began to shudder.

"The creature is approaching. Follow me!"

They ran through another door, down dark passages and tunnels. Taking out a phial, Galadriel lit up the darkness, allowing them to move quickly on.

"I think it's gaining on us! Can we beam out of here?"

"With the fleet tied up in a fight with the Imperials? Not likely, young one. We must reach the surface."

So it was, Galadriel and Ra fled through the dark chasms, finding another way to the surface...

Irene Patterson walks alone in a beautiful garden. It is a serene, peaceful moment.

If only Kreshna is here too....

"Missing him again?"

She turns to the voice behind her, noticing an old wise man with long white hair and flowing beard. She blushes slightly. "I just keep thinking about him."

The old man exhales, "be patient, young lady. Keep your faith, and stay with the light."

"I.... worry about him."

"You cannot save Darth Kreshna, young lady. Only he who can help him... from himself."

"Can I at least do something?"

The old man sighs, "stubborn, are you?"

"I love him."

"But are you ready for what you will see? How many times should I remind you?"

Irene's face shows determination, "yes. I have been thinking over and over again, preparing myself, and I'm willing to cross it if I have to. This is a beautiful place, Gandalf, but you cannot keep me here forever while my heart is trembling with uncertainity."

The Maiar called Gandalf the White does not reply. He crosses his arms while staring at the distance.....

"Yes, my apprentice. Concentrate on the Dark Side. Soon, we shall rule all multiverses."

On Coruscant orbit, several Guardian ships start to experience cosmic tremors, hampering their ability in the ensuing battle.

"Good. Focus on your anger. The flames of your anger shall consume those who stand against us."

Aboard an Eclipse defending Coruscant, an Imperial Captain is surprised seeing a Guardian Heavy Cruiser consumed in unnatural flames. "What was THAT?"

"Feel weakened, my apprentice? Then don't! Ignore the illusion. Don't be distracted by the weakness of the Light Side."

Imperial ships defending Coruscant is now getting overwhelmed as the Guardians are defiantly breaching the defense line; ignoring their own casualties.

"Good. Very good."

Despite have successfully landed their Shog-Oths on the planet, the Guardians just keep pressing on Imperial ships. Suddenly their front line Battle Galleons and Dreadnaughts are bursting in flames. Again.

"Did you see that again? Did you see that AGAIN??"

"Yes and I don't care what it is. This is our chance. Intensify forward firepower, now!"

"Excellent, my apprentice. Soon, your metamorphosis will complete, and such feats are nothing but an insignificant part of your ability."

*The Moon*

Galadriel and Ra race through a rocky cavern. A narrow path is all that seperates the duo from falling into a lunar chasm of death.

"We are nearly to the surface. We must make for the exit with all our speed and strength!"

Ra, the royal Goa'uld that had never went anywhere in a hurry, panted behind the Elf queen, whose light feet ran swiftly ahead.

"I'm coming!"

Descending again down a rocky stair, they ran across a bridge in the chasm, and came toward an arching entryway. Galadriel handed Ra the Oracle, which he lugged with difficulty. Reaching the arc, Ra stepped forward...

...coming face to face with the Guardian monster. It hissed and writhed at the sight of the intruder. Then, its face was swiped by a flash of blue-white light, which came around and out its chest in under a second. Ra caught the distinctive hum of Galadriel's lightsabre as the creature's face and chest fell apart, and the monster fell to the ground.

"Come!" Galadriel grabbed Ra's wrist, and they rushed up a long, seemingly endless stairway.

Behind them, the remains of the monster melted, and it came back together, turning around and swiftly climbing the Eternal Stairs.

For nearly a minute, the two ran up the stairs as the blobbing monster sprinted behind, slowly gaining on Ra. It began to extend its hand at the Goa'uld's foot.

"Haste, Ra, haste! It is almost on us!"

The monster extended a disgusting finger, which writhed around the heel of Ra's boot. Just then, he ran to the left, coming through another way. The Shog-Oth then followed, screeching with anger.

Running through another foyer, and up another rising corridor, they were relentlessly pursued by the creature. As they passed, Galadriel sliced through a column, which fell over the path in front of the Guardian creature. The Shog-Oth snarled, and then pounded the column into dust. But it had been enough of an obstacle to give Galadriel and her Goa'uld companion a long lead. Passing through two other twists, they reached the exit!

"How do we open the door?"

Galadriel spoke to the door, but it did not budge. She then gave Ra a look, and faced away, to the approaching Shog-Oth. Ra placed a charge, and put on his helmet. Galadriel did the same. But the creature was on them. It roared at the Elf, but she stood defiant. Then, holding her lightsabre in both hands, and bringing it upright, she chanted in the soft, fair Elvish tongue. With a flash, the light blade shimmered with blinding light. The creature shielded its eyes, and was blinded. Ra pushed her aside, and both went behind a wall. With a whine, his charge detonated, blowing out the rock. For a picosecond, the air exploded outward before the shield activated. Then, the duo ran out.

"The Menace cannot be set loose." With a wave of her arms, Galadriel pulled the archway down with the Force. A cave-in fell on top of the Shog-Oth, trapping him forever. Galadriel and Ra ran down the path.

"Now what?"

"We wait for the others! We make for the peak ahead."

"We have enough air for seven hours," Ra said as something happened.

The path began to collapse. Galadriel fell down, and found herself clinging to the rock. Ra immediately grabbed her by the wrist.

"Hold on!"

Ra started to pull Galadriel up, but she then flew up, landing on the opposite side.

"There is good in you yet, Ra."

Ra was going to answer, but then smiled under his helmet. So there is. Leaping over the collapsed regolith, he ran on, Galadriel again taking the lead. For six minutes they walked on, finally on safe ground. Then, something else happened. With a flash, the gray moonscape vanished. It was replaced with more gray.

The gray of an Imperial bridge.

"Well, well. What are two Kulls doing running around on the Earth's moon?"

His ships moved through the swirling miasma that was Hyperspace to the Guardians, as he watched the battle of Coruscant upon the holographic viewer. He watched the penetration of the planetary shields, and shortly after, the destruction of several Guardian ships as the Pheonix began to work against the fleet.

The waves of power washed against him, even in this realm, as he staggered briefly by the power which was brought to play.

"Incredible" he mummured as he watched the battle. The Pheonix was begining to exhibit power he had not foreseen. It would mean all the better when he took command of it.

But first, the Imperials had to be stopped before they decimated the Guardian ships...

Change of plans....set course for Coruscant. We must help the fleet.

His robes was pulled tightly about him, as he watched the slaughter on both sides, muttering words in that thick, spidery language he and few others knew, a mixture of Enochian and some other, long lost tongue.

On screen, 2 of the massive System Seige ships moved together, their forms seeming to melt, and any blast aimed at them was simply redirected. Their hulls glowed, blue flame racing over every inch of their monstrous bulks, as the two collided.

--------

Shog-oth swarmed over the Imperial Capitol City, their goal was simple. Obtain the Pheonix Host, and bring it back to the Guardians. They were mindless in their goal, their losses did not matter, they rolled over the city like a great tide, absorbing those who got in their way, into their gelatonous bodies, suffocating them, or using their own weapons to rend them limb from limb.

Their movements seemed chaotic, but all pointed to one place, Palpatine Memorial Hospital, and their target who awaited there.

----------

The two massive ships collided, but did not explode, instead, their hulls began to meld and combine, reshape into something new, and seemingly unnatural.

Soon, other hulks of destroyed ships began the same blue glow, and they drifted towards the blob of shaping protoplasm. Weapons fired towards it seemed to be redirected back onto Imperial ships. Soon, after the ball grew tot he size of a medium sized moon, ships stopped being dragged into it, and the outer surface hardened.

Moments later, the first cracks appeared in the surface, chunks of rock and metal floating away into space, as a the massive head of s Space Dragon rose up, a gout of energy pouring from it's maw towards the Imperial fleet....

-----

Within his ship, the Archmagus slumped into a chair, to create such a beast from this distance taxed even his own extraordinary powers. But the fleet needed to survive until he could arrive. Even if they looked like Go'ulds to the Imperials, arriving to help the Guardians lay seige to the planet....

He would use his power again, once he rested, to take the fleet to Coruscant, before the battle ended....

-----
OOC:Kreshna, as you guessed, the Archmagus created a Space Dragon. The creatures body is made of Guardian and Imperial ships, to be sure, but also part of it is protected by the Archmagus' magick, dampening the destructive blow of energy weapons used against it. The "breath weapon" of the creature is at least equal to a HTL, I would think.

I'll let you describe a bit more.

Captain Erel Davven smiled mockingly at the two suited figures, walking forward, he motioned to an officer in a black uniform. A member of the Stormtrooper Corps.

"Disarm them!"

Two stormtroopers walked up, and removed Ra and Galadriel's suit gloves, which held their weaponry. As the stormtrooper removed Galadriel's gloves, they came off with a hiss, revealing the fair hands underneath. Davven looked surprised, but merely observed.

The troopers searched on, and removed the helmets. Davven's surprise turned to delight.

"How fortunate. This is almost too fortunate! Here, we have captured the Goa'uld Heads of State! I present to you none other," he added mockingly, "than the Supreme System Lord Ra and his coconspirator, Lady Galadriel! Grand Admiral Thorne will be most pleased."

Davven's eyes sparkled in greed. He knew a substantial reward was due.

"But her. I thought she perished over Coruscant?" the Stormtrooper officer commented.

"Apparently not. Madame, sir, consider yourselves prisoners... of the Galactic Empire."

A 'trooper then removed a golden cylinder with a single button. "Oh, I wonder what this is?" he said suggestingly. "Only one button? You'd think she'd have some higher settings!"

"But check out the diameter," the other jested.

"You fools! Give me that! You don't even know what you're-"

With a flick of her wrist, the hilt flew into Galadriel's hand. "You wish to know what it is?" Pressing the button as she held the hilt over her head, Galadriel sent a brilliant blue-white blade skyward. With a wave of her free hand, she sent the two officers and two troopers flying to the floor.

Snapping her view around, she saw two more troopers advance. They fired; with an impossibly fast set of moves, Galadriel sent the bolts flying back to the other troopers. They fell, and did not move again. With a move of her free hand, the blast door to the bridge slammed down, barely in time to stop more soldiers coming to investigate the shots on the bridge.

Ra then laughed mockingly, returning to his "Goa'uldish" deep voice. "No, Captain! Consider yourselves our prisoners!"

"Cease fire."

Ra picked up a blaster. "Do as she says."

"Fire control! Cease fire!"

The fire control crewmen, who had been staring at the otherworldly spectacle unfold, didn't budge.

"I ordered you to cease fire!"

"Aye, sir, ceasing fire!" the men finally replied.

Ra then walked over to sensor control. On the scope, an Al'kesh exploded in a ball of fire, destroyed by the nearby Sovereign. Rushing to the Asgard transporter controls, Ra targetted the naquada-enhanced warheads drifting among the bomber's wreckage. He beamed them aboard, to Davven's horror.

Ra then retarged the shield perimeter of the Sovereign, and set the transporters to beam one warhead at a time. Working swiftly, he soon sent a warhead away. It exploded against the forward shields, detonating in a brilliant flash. A second later, another exploded. Every second, another multi-gigaton detonation went out, until the shields were wavering.

In the distance, the MC-80 cruiser fired on the weak spot in the shields, and they dropped. Ra's last two warheads were detonated inside the Sovereign's hull, opening the way for the Fleet to finish the vessel off. The mighty warship exploded in a blinding flare, debris licking the HIMS Regency's shields.

"You fool! Now the Imperials will execute us for treason!"

"Unlikely, as the battle goes ill. We will see what the Rebels will do with you," Galadriel noted with a smile.

OOC: I like the Space Dragon! How big is it supposed to be? Also, in my post, I make it to act more like a monster (Godzilla, etc) instead of a starship!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coruscant's Orbit.

The blasphemous, accursed abomination of flesh and metal called the Space Dragon almost put the Imperials transfixed in horror. The space monster is looming menacingly towards Imperial fleet. TIE Fighters, TIE Interceptors, and Assault Gunboats are swarming around the dragon, trying to stop it, only to be crushed between its powerful jaws.

The Space Dragon now starts advancing towards a nearby Allegiance-Class Star Destroyer. The destroyer fires wildly to stop it. To no avail, the monster apparently has way more powerful 'hull' than a typical Guardian ship, as most of their fire is ineffective. Worse, the physical damages caused by Imperial turbolasers are slowly regenerate, as if the Space Dragon can heal itself.

The dragon now opens fire, emmiting its breath towards the destroyer. The dragon's breath is almost as powerful as Heavy Turbolaser, only less focused and covers a wider area. Both space monstrosities trade fire, but moments later, the larger Space Dragon apparently win as the Star Destroyer's shields start to buckle, followed by a brilliant flash of explosion.

-------------

Coruscant's Streets.

Panic ensues as the Shog-Oths are making their way to the hospital. Coruscant population are modern people, never accostumed to supernatural horror they are seeing now. Some are watching in disbelief, trying to pray to whatever deities they worship -if any, but the bigger portion is trying to flee. Casualties continue to fell; among them is a Xizor News Network reporter which is swallowed outright by the swirling mass of the Shog-Oths, bringing horror to the people watching holo-TV everywhere.

Imperial Ground Forces, on the other hand, are holding their ground. They are, after all, battle-hardened military personnel instead of common people. Walkers, Battle Droids, and Tanks are blocking the ways to the hospital. The Stormtroopers soon find that the Shog-Oths, although practically immune to physical attacks due to their semi-liquid nature, are vulnerable to heat. LAATs are swooping from the skies towards the morphing and formless Shog-Oths while delivering their ordnance, while AT-ST and Viper Automadon Battle Droids are firing side-by-side to stop the advancing tidal wave of the formless abomination.

What really hampers the Imperial ground defense are the civilians; the panicking, fleeing, evacuating civilians.

OOC: Alright, actually I'm going out of town for the entire weekend, so I'll be denied internet connection. That's too bad because I'm still playing this part against Allen. So if we really need to pace up the game, I welcome Ra to play my part. So it will be an STGOD battle between you two (both on the orbit and on the city of Coruscant).

And actually, I haven't figured out how Darth Kreshna should wake up from his comatose state. Probably something should happen in the 'Dream-World'?

But I guess, first thing first, we should give a chance to Lord Walper and Lord Adam to finish their duel, before finishing anything in our part, to keep the timeframe consistent.

*The Tantive V*

Leia was amazed at the spectacle. The entire Imperial line had descended into chaos. The remaining Sovereign had exploded, and Imperial ships were now fighting it out with no sense of direction. And one Allegiance-class ship wasn't firing at all. However, every time an Al'kesh got near, all of its nukes found some use, detonating against the Imperial shields, and helping the fleet bring more ships down.

With the superlaser-wielding monster down, the Goa'uld ships now moved in, fighting up close and personal with the Imperials, as they always prefered to do. They were going to make sure the Imperial fleet couldn't escape. Nonetheless, more than a few Imperial vessels hyperspaced away. Over the next twenty minutes, all but that single ASD, which sat there idle, escaped or was destroyed.

With one ship left, Leia opened a channel. On a vidscreen, a familar face appeared.

"Galadriel? You never cease to amaze me."

"I only do what I must. But there is more here than you may realize."

"Well, you caught an Allegiance-class Star Destroyer, that could do us all a lot of good in the right place."

"When the time comes, ships and weapons will be of little use, I fear. But I have something that may help us indeed."

Ra lugged up the Oracle of Datasse.

"You found that?"

Galadriel nodded.

"Now," Ra said as he set the device down, "will you have some of my troops beam over so we don't have to hold the bridge anymore?"

Nearly an hour later, the HIMS Regency had been secured. The crew was being interned, while the Rebels took over management of the ship. On the bridge, Rebel soldiers and Kull Warriors worked to get the bridge crew under guard while Galadriel, Leia, and Thor discussed matters.

"This is an Oracle from the Temple of Datasse," Galadriel stated. "It speaks of many things, but most importantly of all, it gives instruction on how to move the Phoenix out of its host body. This was written before the Guardians were corrupted by the dark powers."

"Then this is precisely what we've been needing. If the Phoenix can be seperated from its host, this war could be over tomorrow."

Thor, in the meantime, had already been thoroughly briefed on the Phoenix, Guardians, and other matters. "If a team were allowed to analyse this device, we may learn something ourselves."

"It is merely a stone of information, but do with it as you wish." Galadriel then turned to both of them. "The time is coming, my friends. The time when we must stand against both of the cosmic forces. This is a perilous quest, one that we cannot falter or stray away from.

Failure, at this point, would mean the doom of all that is good. Yet there is still hope while we as one."
Galadriel thought back to the darkest days of the past, when Men and Elves united against Sauron. The Last Alliance, it was called. Gil-Galad and Elendil led their army to the very foot of Mount Doom, to oppose Sauron's evil. Now, Galadriel had to lead an alliance of her own, one that would determine the fate of all worlds.

"We must do this, even if none of us survive," Ra stated. "I have spoken with the remaining System Lords. They will fight alongside us. We're going to press our advantage. The Imperials flee before us. But we don't merely fight them. We fight to stop the Guardians, and the menace that they oppose. We fight for the lives of all races. We fight for the Eldar, the Goa'uld, the Tauri, the Asgard, for all the races of the Empire. We fight for... for bright faces silenced by evil," Ra added bitterly, pain clearly on his face. He then looked down, and started to walk off. "We fight for... Irene Patterson."

Leia and Thor didn't quite understand the last part of Ra's impromptu speech. But how could they? But the Stormtrooper officer seemed to know. He spoke up, just as a Rebel soldier was binding his hands.

"What do you know about her?"

Ra snapped around, looking at the officer. His eyes flashed venomously. "What do you know about her, Prisoner!"

"She was my classmate in OTS. Always wondered what happened to her. From the way you talk, I don't think it was all that good."

"That scarcely explains her fate," Galadriel suddenly spoke, looking the man in the eye. "For the Phoenix tore the very life-force from her in its blind wrath. Speak of her no more!"

Leia noticed that the mere mention of this person brought deep pain even into Galadriel's eyes. But right now, she had some work to do, and didn't want to bring the Eldar Queen any more pain. She walked away, just as Ra spoke to her.

"The Goa'uld are going to start an... operation in your galaxy. I will brief you tomorrow, when we attack."

Suddenly, Kreshna's body disappears in the tell tale glow of a Borg transporter beam. Monitoring devices and medical equipment signal warnings as the patient's body no longer registers readings to the now disconnected wires and medical probes.

Completely invisible to the naked eye and sensors, a Borg probe speeds out of Coruscant's atmosphere. The planetary shield, strong enough to deflect any bombardment, strangely does not hinder the probe as it passes through the shield. While escaping to a higher orbit, the probe amazingly passes right through an orbiting vessel engaged in battle. The probe jumps into transwarp, carrying it's cargo directly towards the heart of Borg space. There he we will be under the protection of his personal ally, Lord Walper.

Within the half hour the probe's phased cloaking device disengages, and it materializes back into normal space. It approaches a montrously large and spherical battlestation. A transporter beam once again beams the comatose form of Kreshna to the Death Star's top of the line medical facility. Medical droids begin to ensure the well being and safety Darth Kreshna.

Meanwhile, above the new Sauron planet of Mordor, the Borg fleet and Guardian vessels continue to exchange large amounts of firepower. Almost a hundred Borg cubes had been rendered disabled or destroyed in the ongoing conflict. Yet with the rest of the fleet powering the forward lines, coupled with Lord Walper's Force power, the Borg armada is inflicting significant damage to the Guardian forces as well.

Further back from the major fighting, two figures fight furiously on the hull of a Borg cube. Two red lightsabers flash against an energy lined A'Millian blade. The two figures parry and attack repeatedly, with the A'Millian occasionally giving ground. Occasionally, both opponents would be forced to dodge a stray rock or large boulder slamming harmessly into the cube's hull. The asteroid dome decompression had filled the surrounding area with a significant number of moving rocks, which while harmless to most starship shields and hull strength, were big and fast enough to hurt the unwary individual strangely surviving the vacuum of space.

Adam swung his blade with all his might, coming down directly to Walper's head. Robert's blades crossed, blocking the blow. Both men pressed forward, looking darkly into the other's eyes, neither intent on showing the slightest fatigue or effort.

Lord Adam leapt forward, slamming both his feet into the Borg in front of him, knocking the Sith off his feet and backwards. The opposite reaction sent Adam flying the other way, breaking their sword lock. Using the Force and his built in magnetic footwear, Robert regained his footing on the cube's hull. The A'Millian did likewise with his manipulation of physics.

A Galaxy Class starship closed upon the cube, detecting the A'Millian lifesign. It's phasers lashed out, striking at the Borg leader on the hull. Normally the cube's shields could've effortlessly shrugged off the attack, but the Borg vessel was one of many fueling their power into the forward line of cubes to hold their own against the Guardian ships.

Robert's lightsabers absorbed the phaser blast, deflecting it back at the ship's saucer section. Only Walper's Force manipulation and physical durability allowd him to survive the blast. Nonetheless, the raw power of the phaser beam had pinned and crushed him into the cube's hull, temporarily immobilizing him. Adam prevented the starship from attempting to beam him from the fight. He knew he had to finish the Sith Lord off. He began to close the distance between him and his opponent rapidly.

But Robert, despite his pinned condition, was far from helpless. His right hand, despite still holding a lightsaber blade, reached towards the Galazy Class ship that had fired upon him. The ship was gripped in the energy of the Force, and it began to accelerate rapidly towards the Borg vessel's hull. Lord Adam saw the incoming mass of almost five million metric tons, realizing his current direction would have him crushed by it. He stopped his advance, and concentrated on avoiding the mountain of metal that was less than a second from impact.

The Galaxy Class starship's shield's overloaded when striking the Borg hull, although denting it impressively. The saucer section sliced into the opposing metal like a knife through butter, crumpling like tin foil. The resulting vibration was so violent and close it sent Adam hurling into space, directly towards the planet. Lord Walper's intent was realized as the impact and collision freed him from his trapped position. But he was also sent flying towards the planet.

The violent collision had cost Adam his sword, and it now tumbled and spinned out of control falling towards the planet. The A'Millian forced himself after it, his speed increasing. But he knew that in order to acquire it, he would pass the point of no return and would fall through the planet's atmosphere.

Robert on the other hand had managed to retain his blades, and he also pursued Adam's fall. Both figures plummeted towards the planet, the A'Millian chasing his falling blade, followed by the closing Sith Borg.

Darth Kreshna walks alone in a garden, contemplating his surrounding.

"Thinking about her again, hmm?"

The figure who speaks the words wears a scarlett military uniform. It continues mockingly, "well it's too late, my friend. We killed her, remember?"

Darth Kreshna is enraged, "it was an accident!"

"It doesn't change the fact that she's dead now," the Sith Inquisitor grins wickedly.

"I didn't mean to kill her!"

"I? You mean us, don't you?"

"You are never part of me," Kreshna spats in disgust.

"How come I never be part of you? It was our decision to accept Palpatine's teaching several years ago. It was our decision to be a Sith Inquisitor; the most powerful figure in the Galaxy next to the Emperor himself."

"I did it for the Empire!"

"Bullshit. We did it because our hatred. Our pain and grief. She really hurt us for sure, didn't she?"

"Do not remind me of her!" Kreshna hissed with anger.

"Ah, but why not? Or did we completely forget how her mother treated us? Or how she betrayed us by marrying that dashing Captain Patterson?"

"Shut up!"

The Sith Inquisitor keeps talking, "...or how she betrayed us again by flirting with that handsome Goa'uld System Lord? Ooohhh, what did she say? She stayed with them to help us? Do we really buy that shit?"

"I SAID SHUT UP!!!"

Darth Kreshna ignites his lightsaber then attacks the Sith Inquisitor. His other self, however, is more than ready; blocking his attack with ease.

"Good, give in to anger. Give in to hatred! It is the very same hatred that created me on the first place!"

The two Kreshnas are fighting fiercely. Striking, blocking, parrying. Striking, blocking, parrying.....

Aboard the Death Star, the unconscious Sith Inquisitor named Darth Kreshna again shows a violent, peculiar fluctuation in his vital signs. Borg drones are helping the medical droids in taking care of the patient, for he is the valued ally of his master; Lord Walper. Medical nanoprobes are exploring Darth Kreshna's blood vessel, trying to alleviate and stabilize his condition, but despite all technological advancements of the Borg, the whole situation just keeps them puzzled.

On Coruscant, more and more people is dying as fierce battle continues to enrage. A Guardian Battle Galleon is laying waste to a nearby Star Destroyer, while a Star Cruiser is barraging a Guardian Heavy Cruiser with its dorsal Heavy Turbolaser. Three Guardian Bioships are being smashed to each other by a Sovereign's mighty tractor beams, while the Space Dragon is wreaking havoc through a barricade of Venators....

Evancescence - "Tourniquet"

i tried to kill the pain
but only brought more
i lay dying
and i'm pouring crimson regret and betrayal
i'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming
am i too lost to be saved
am i too lost?

my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation
my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation

do you remember me
lost for so long
will you be on the other side
or will you forget me
i'm dying, praying, bleeding and screaming
am i too lost to be saved
am i too lost?

my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation
my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation

i want to die!!!

my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation
my God my tourniquet
return to me salvation

my wounds cry for the grave
my soul cries for deliverance
will i be denied Christ
tourniquet
my suicide

OOC: thanks for the rescue, Rob! Now, to Allen, what do you plan next? Will the Guardian sense their target is not on Coruscant anymore? Or will you continue to pressing and pressing, continuing this fierce (and exciting) battle until the Shog-Oths reach the hospital, only to find Darth Kreshna is not there anymore?

If you pick the latter, however, don't forget that the Agent Smiths are waiting! They're bioengineered by The Organization, using Guardian 'Magical' Technology and artificial Midi-Chlorian, so they can really exhibit Matrix-esque feats in real world like multiplying themselves and even morphing! Imagine they're facing the Shog-Oths!

So be it. If saying "NO" means being alone, then to hell with love, with romance, with marriage, and all the shit life keeps pumping at me. I'll walk alone, but with freedom and a healed pride.

*Goa'uld base*

Over the seventh planet, the battered fleet rallied as the leaders of the fledgling alliance of three met in Ra's command center. Queen Galadriel, Supreme System Lord Ra, Princess Leia, and Surpeme Commander Thor gathered around a desk, to discuss the situation.

Galadriel began, addressing the leaders. "Our victory this day has saved Earth, and incidentally allowed us to acquire an ancient Guardian artefact, the Oracle of Datasse."

Thor spoke next. "According to our analysis, the Oracle is a databank holding information on Guardian strongholds. Thanks to the information Ra provided, it is clear that these strongholds are a type of "nexus" that the Guardians use to dwell in their noncorporeal state. The Oracle also includes extensive nformation on how to disembody the enemy being you call the Phoenix. However, this is Galadriel's expertise, not ours."

Galadriel added to Thor's last point. "But this information is incomplete. I will have to complete the final steps by my own intuition. But even the Wise cannot see all ends."

There was silence for a moment as the council pondered the situation. Then, Ra spoke up. "Nonetheless, this Oracle gives us vital information; the location of the Guardians' Master Nexus, in the Galactic Core region. This area is difficult to navigate, but not impossible. We will be able to penetrate the Imperial defenses, and strike!"

"And how are you going to do that?" Leia inquired with an unconvinced glare.

"With this!" Ra said as he slammed a small tube on the desk. "This was provided to me by a secret source, which I cannot name. He's a member of a... group, but does not totally agree with their motives. I can't say more. But this is a pathogen that, when used on the Master Nexus, will prove devastating to the Guardians! By eliminating its foes, we can deal with the Phoenix ourselves, and end this madness once and for all."

Galadriel calmly stepped in after Ra had completed his speech. "Of course, Ra leaves out the fact that the weapon is unproven at best, and could have no effect on the Guardians, or an effect that we did not intend," Galadriel stated calmly. "Ra's solution is indeed clever and brave, but wroght with peril."

"Perhaps we could analyze this weapon?" added Thor. He didn't see why science couldn't make the weapon effective.

"No," said Galadriel. "This weapon would baffle the scientists of the Asgard and of the Empire. Only someone such as myself could study the agent and perfect it in time."

Thor gave the Eldar Queen a strange look.

"She means its a magical weapon devised against a magical enemy," Ra stated rather uneasily. Even he didn't totally get what was going on at times. "Only Galadriel, a master of Eldar magic, could understand it."

Galadriel raised an eyebrow. "Perhaps, Ra, you are trying to help, but I do not understand what you mean by... magic."

Ra looked up, and shrugged. "You know, telepathy, shooting lightning from your fingertips, precognition, using rings to bind the fate of millions to your will? That sort of thing?"

Galadriel laughed softly, and smiled. "Such is not magic in the mind of those who understand such things, young Ra. With knowledge and ability, it becomes clear and as natural to one as walking... or writing..."

Galadriel then looked to the others, and got back on topic. "We must act soon, if we are to succeed. The Borg have assisted the Phoenix-Incarnate, moving him to the Death Star in Borg space. There, he is as protected as he is vulnerable. The Guardian Archmagus also has seen this. The great battle of Evil versus Evil is at hand."

Leia got the picture. Her expression lit up, and she spoke. "So, you're saying that the Imps and the Guardians will be so occupied with killing each other... that they wouldn't even pay attention to us?"

"Indeed I am," answered the Elf Lady. "The Archmagus' sight is fixed on the Phoenix-Incarnate. He is cornered, and he is at a disadvantage. Now Sdenna sees the chance to disembody the Phoenix, and once again send it into the abyss of unconsciousness, until once again it has found a new worthy host. Such is the cycle of this chaos, from the Elder Days even until now."

"The Cycle must be broken," Ra stated emphatically. "We should get every available ship, and go after the Phoenix ourselves."

The Lady Galadriel nodded. "That is our plan. But this will only suceed... if we hold true, and as one."

"An alliance," Leia replied. "You'll have every ship we can spare. We'll rendezvous at a predetermined location."

Thor answered next. "You have the assistance of the Asgard. We wish to see this conflict end as much as any of you."

"I will send every ship I can as well, and call up Baal for aid," Ra smirked. "He's still bitter over the Chulak incident, but I expect he'll help."

"And I will speak with the Lady on A'millian Prime, and Lord Dietritus. Our allies have long been willing to see this war end."

"Should we go ahead with Ra's plan here?" asked Leia.

"If you do, it could have unforseen consequences on our Task, possibly doing as much harm as good," Galadriel answered. "If you decide not to proceed, it could also mean that the Guardians' strength would be too much for us or the Empire to overcome. The decision is yours, Ra. To attack, or to stay your hand."

Leia raised an eyebrow. Ra looked over, laughing. "Princess Leia, I learned a long time ago that Galadriel always answers a question with 'yes' and 'no'. It's something you have to get used to."

"My friends, I do not give such counsel," Galadriel smiled. "The goal for all of you, is to make the right decisions on your own."

Ra nodded, and looked up. "Then I make my decision...

We attack."

Adam reached out with his hand, and grabbed hold of his sword. He had barely done so when he felt the impact of hitting the atmosphere. He intensified his efforts towards his personal shield, the heat of re entry wrapping around him like a cloak of fire. He sensed rather than saw Robert's blades closing upon his back. Now with an atmosphere to better control his movements, the A'Millian flung himself rightside up relative to the planet, parrying the two blades that stabbed towards him. Walper was also envoloped in a glow of red heat, but his personal shield seemed to be handling it well enough for the moment. This was going to prove an advantage to the Sith Borg if Adam didn't find a way to nullify it. Adam gripped one of Robert's wrists, and used his blade to counter the other saber.

But as chance would have it, both figures had plummeted towards the underhanging rocks that were strung from the very asteroid the fight had began upon. The very rocks Sauron had placed to provide his own means of achieving orbit if needed. Adam twisted in both an effort to avoid and push Walper towards one of the large rocks rushing towards them. Although the stronger, Robert's experience in aspects of personal flight and controlled descent did not match the A'Millian's. Adam's feet came up, pushing Walper down and his back slammed into the solid surface, the rock exploding from the impact. The A'Millian's kick had served to allow him to narrowly avoid crashing into the piece himself. Pieces flew every direction, and Adam had to further push his abilities to avoid the dangerous debris. Walper's body flailed aimlessly as he tried desperately to regain his bearings, but his efforts were furthered compromised as he had lost his personal shield system and now how to put effort into protecting himself with Force energy. He'd also lost one of his blades, the saber thrown away during the impact, and vaporized in the heat of re entry. Robert couldn't quite maintain his position and direction as he was out of his element fighting this way, but this didn't stop him from flinging the broken up pieces of the smashed rock at his opponent. But Adam was able to deftly avoid them all, and begun to force himself faster towards the Borg, intent on pressing his advantage.

Dark clouds were spread across the new land given the title of Mordor. Heavy rain fell, as the evil which planted itself on the lush world began to take hold.

At the base of the darkened sky, a dim light began to grow. At first it was dim, but quickly turned a more redish hue of heat. Two figures, envoloped in the glowing fireball of re entry, burst from the clouds, battling in the omnious sky. Far below, Sauron's tower slowly grew in size.

Adam and Robert had hands locked onto eachother, the Borg grabbing at Adam's throat, the A'Millian clutching Robert's collar. Their blades continued flashing as they crossed and held the other at bay. The fight was only more confusing as both were spinning and turning wildly. The howling atmosphere rushing by almost drowned out all sound. Another push by Walper, and his lightsaber got closer to the A'Millian's face. But Adam merely used the forward movement to fling Walper over him once again, sending them spinning in another wave of dizzying aerial acrobatics. But still neither let go of the other.

The Trollish General Scout Vehicle Unjustly Made Responsible task was an easy one, get into the Sol system, have a look around, check for any possible entry point for the trapped Trollish forces to get back into the main time line of this Multiverse. So far the crew had seen dozens of battle fleets charging around the place, several of which were of unidentified origens

Pleased with what had been seen, the ships returns to it's masters to inform of what has happened in their absence
"Why hello! Could I intrest you in some giant bonsai trees?"
