Basically, this fellow is asking why atheists don't simply kill themselves. Isn't he just a ray of sunshine?

I've seen a lot of reprehensible, depraved stuff, but this takes it to a new low.

Why let the brayings of intentional idiots get you down?
To specify: An "intentional idiot" is a person being an idiot on purpose. This most certainly includes anyone of any faith who doesn't ever acknowledge other faiths, or the chance that they might be wrong about theirs.

I hear ya. But encouraging people to commit suicide? That's one of those things which tick me off.rhoenix wrote:Why let the brayings of intentional idiots get you down?

Well, think about it - that's their version of good advice. "why can't you go away so you make me stop questioning my beliefs?"
EDIT: Those secure and comfortable with their faiths actively enjoy having them questioned, as they only feel it helps them understand themselves and their faith better by the answers they find.
Others who are not secure, and seek to unseat or devalue other faiths so that they are not as much a "threat" will certainly attack everyone else, out of pure fear that any of them might actually be right, and what they believe is wrong.

I haven't watched the video yet but if anything shouldn't it be the Christians who should commit suicide? Atheists aren't the ones believing that our earthly existence is of no consequence and only in the afterlife can true happiness be found.
'I wonder how far the barometer sunk.'-'All der way. Trust me on dis.'
'Go ahead. Bake my quiche'.
'Undead or alive, you're coming with me.'
'Detritus?'-'Yessir?'-'Never go to Klatch'.-'Yessir.'
'Many fine old manuscripts in that place, I believe. Without price, I'm told.'-'Yes, sir. Certainly worthless, sir.'-'Is it possible you misunderstood what I just said, Commander?'
'Can't sing, can't dance, can handle a sword a little'

I got to "It certainly makes the job of the Christian that much easier." and shut the video off in disgust.

Considering that suicide is an immortal sin... No.I haven't watched the video yet but if anything shouldn't it be the Christians who should commit suicide?
Course since Atheists believe that they only have a brief existence and once it ends, it well... ends, I fail to see why an Atheist would commit suicide either.
