Nitram hasn't been able to get online much, but he did read the new TF story, and -loves- it. He says you've got Overload nailed so far.

Nitram has a distinctive "mostly practical, straight ahead stuff but with a little flurish added on at the end" style that is relatively easy to copy.

You're right. He does the same thing with Gravitas

I have to say Cyncat, this TF story of yours is rather well-done. Your writing style for this story (I haven't read your other works yet) reminds me of Nick Polatta's Bureau 13 books, actually - which is something I'd consider to be a compliment.

Since Team Overload kinda has the same kind of feel to it, I'll take it as a compliment.

Quintessons the bloody cockroaches of creation. You really think eventually the rest of us would get together to wipe out these bastards.

*SQUEEEEEEEEE!* Two Chapters up! Just the thing to make me feel better!

There's a typo in the first one you put up, with the Quintessions.
Judge Zalryn spoke soothingly. "Surely you do not intend to surrender Cybertron to Megatron."

"I do not," said Straxus.

"Then you will him defeated. We can aid you in this."

First... you so nailed Prime. Great job there.

Now I'm wondering if the 'millions of years old giant robot' is Shockwave or not. I'm leaning towards 'yes'. I'd still love to hear if the diggers got a 911 number for the Autobots or not

*Squeeeee!* More story, with Backstory! Although I have to agree that 2 cubes is pretty piss poor. Prime would be more generous, just to have them on his side. Omnius and Magnus just aren't that good at leadership.

and a typo
"On the contrary, I have," said Deathstrike. "You, on the other hand, have no.

And the plot thickens. Mwhahahhahahaha.

"Ah Starscream, as I suspected you wouldn't recognize an intelligent strategy if it bit off you leg,"
You also do a great Megatron, although you still get in a hurry and typo you/your

I don't have an excuse for a cool group fight and its aftermath if everything goes well.

Turning Kunni to marble is probably the only way to keep the thief in place, but ... I really -really- hope it's reversable.

What kind of D&D veteran hasn't heard of stone to flesh or flesh to stone? Sixth level spells that have been around forever. Lady T, I need to see some documents proving you are who you say you are.

Cyncat, m'dear, you throw so many epic spells around in these stories, I truly don't expect a 'mere' 6th level spell.

Besides, all the flesh to stone spells I ever had thrown my way did plain ol' sandstone.

Stone to flesh is still a common sixth level spell. And clearly, you don't use your victims to decorate your entrance halls. Some Empress of Evil you are.

Pffft. I'm not the White Queen, you know. Besides, then I'd need someone to dust the damned things. Do you know how much good maids cost?

Besides, if you turn them to stone, how to you get their items and gold?

You were the one saying 'statues in the entryway'. Rock to mud is just cliche after a Flesh to stone spell.
At least, cliche with those I played with. Prevents healing, delays resurrection, and it's good for the garden. Just don't raise edibles in it.

Fucking Motormaster.

CynCat, I hope your version of the Aerialbots is a bit more complementary than what they got in the TV G1 show, if you decide to put them in.
