'09 is over, it's now 5 hours into 2010. May this decade be a better one than the last one.

The new decade begins in 2011, silly.

But happy new year anyway. And I agree, hopefully it will be better than last one.

Well it's been 2010 for 7 minutes here too so Happy New Year
And frankly it being better than the last one doesn't take much. But then, when has it ever?

They live IN THE FUTURE. Stofsk won't tell me whether or not we have flying cars yet, the bastard.

Happy 2010, everyone. May we all make the most of every moment to come of the new year.

It's called 'timezones'.
And frankly that was a nice change of pace for me. Usually it's me spoiling things due to being several hours ahead of everybody else.

Wind, dude, you're never going to believe what happens in the future man. It's... it's unreal. It's amazing. I-I can't even describe it. But wait. In 3 hours you'll see it!

Yeah it's a bit surreal to have grown up reading classic sf like 2001 and 2010 and now that those years have come, I keep wondering: where's that damn monolith!

Happy New Year. May their be less aggravating bullshit this year than the last.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.

Oh, yea. But personally I'd settle for some of the spaceships. It's 2010 and still we've only sent 18 people beyond the upper atmosphere, what's up with that? All we're doing right now is bragging about how cool it is that we have a 100 billion dollar aluminum can going round and round in circles at an altitude of only 1/19 of the Earth's radius. All the while it's been more than 40 years since Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon, and all we get is more broken promises.

Try opening a MS Paint or something, draw a blue-filled circle, then draw a red non-filled circle with a radius 20/19 of the previous circle's radius and with the same center point. The blue circle represents the Earth, the red one represents the space station's orbit. Not only that, but it's not even in the right orbit to service ships going out into the solar system beyond or anything.

Then go read all the hype the upper atmospheric station space station gets, while keeping a straight face. I can't do it myself.
