Mind you, a lot of people too, have been questioning other things described in the Bible. Things like "does god support murder, rape, and slavery? Is god a mysogynist? Is god a homophobe?" etc, etc.
However, such discussion topic -while probably deserve a separate discussion- is off-topic in respect to the OP. I believe this thread was intended to be a lighten up, non-serious discussion (no shit, Sherlock), until frigid posted a serious response to Bats comment; thus, leading to such discussion I mentioned above.
