#1 Could something like this work?

Let's say someone made a TV comedy sitcom where much of the humor was in stuff that happened in the background and/or subtley. For example, youhave one character complaining to someone about how boring her life is and how nothing ever happens, while in the window behind her you can see people diving for cover while pumpkins fall from the sky for no apparent reason, and then other completely random things occur. Or one paranoid character becomes convinced that something horrible is going to happen soon, so for the next three episodes you see him walking around wearing concealing clothes and carrying a baseball bat. Obviously not all the humor would be of that nature, but I could see it being a hit, with people wanting to watch each episode at least twice to make sure they caught all the gags.

So, could this work?

I think that would be funny. But I think it waould turn into a show more like SNl or Mad T.V. Not a sitcom. BUt I'd want to see something like that. It's different.

hehe I have. But the gags in that are less subtle. Still funny as hell.
