#1 The Tortoise Is Going to Grad School. Sing my Praises!

Post by Comrade Tortoise »

So I just got an email in my inbox today informing me, after 2 months of agonizing wait, that I got into the University of Texas at Arlington's masters program in biology. Considering that the American Association of Herpetologists and Ichthyologists has this particular institution on their "You want to go here" list, I am sickeningly pleased with myself.

Go me!

I have no idea what Herpetologists and Ichthyologists are though I seem to dimly recall the latter being about fish but as you are obviously pleased about it, congratumalations?

Excellent work, CT - now your task is to combine bat, snake, and fish into one creature. Good luck.

Congrats and Good for you!

As my mother says: Find a job you truly love and you'll never work a day in your life.

Looks like you found it. Enjoy!

Masters first, my research interests are long term... which means I will almost have to build on the research done for a masters before I go for the Ph.D

Many congratulations and happy returns, though the depths of grad school may seem to negate them!
