Ok, folks...
Marcon 44 is going to be the last weekend in May, so now's the time to start planning and getting in Con and Hotel reservations. This year's theme: BRITISH INVASION
Once again, those in/around WV and points East are welcome to join Nitram and I on the RoadTrip up. Devonie is planning to come, WhiteHaven's out in Richmond VA needing a lift over, and Hotfoot and Marcao are waffling on if they'll get there.
Anyone who's interested and within driving distance of Columbus OH should try to make the trip. Those who want to fly, we can arrange transport to the Con.

Well if I go I'm fairly certain I can snag WhiteHaven and we can carpool. Of course entertainment for said carpool is provided by my snazzy in-car computer with full internet access, 80+gigs of music and dozens of full movies all available at your fingertips, not to mention the horrible humor of listening to GLaDOS give us directions via my GPS.
I feel sorry for WhiteHaven if he rides with me...

Right now, witht he work situation, not sure if I'll be able to go.
I'll have to wait and see with concerns to bills and money and how work falls.....
If I go..anyone know where I can find a big silvery H to put on my forehead?

The Doctor (Scottie or Nitram can pull this off) meets Rimmer, meets Arthur Dent (I claim Dent), meets various other britishy people.

Nono no... NITRAM does Arthur Dent. You have to see his PJs and Robe and towel. Plus.. he's got a Proper British Accent.

GhostRider from SDNet has emailed me on that forum and stated he's coming this year. He joined us two years back, and we had a great time together. He's in DC.

BTW, it's not the last weekend in May, it's Memorial Day weekend, May 22-24. There's one more full weekend in May after that, June 1st is on a Monday...
