Have spoken to Nitram, he's suppose to go under the knife tomorrow at 0400 am US eastern time.

Just got the same news from Tev. Delay in the procedure, booted back to 4AM EST. Nit's coping and might be on and off line until it's time to prep for it. Otherwise everything is going good at the moment.

Frustrating, yes. Upsetting. Nailbiting fear/worry, that turns to a gut-punch to the stomach and a empty 'that was it'?!?! feeling. All the fuss, all the rush, all the waiting, and nothing.
Then, we got philosophical. :thumbsup
The liver had passed all the other tests -- blood work, x-ray, c-scan, MRI. Everything matched, but finally the surgeons found the flaw the old-fashioned way, by looking it over with the Mark-One eyeball. A flaw that would have caused a lot of problems if it had been transplanted into Nitram.
Disappointing... but it showed just how careful the doctors are. It showed that we can get our butts in gear, get to the hospital, and sweat out the hours without going insane. And we'll do it again the next time there's a liver available. It also showed us how many people are rooting for Nit's continued health.
To all of you who called, IM'd, texted, and sent up prayers to the various deities... Thank You. :luv:
