According to this, although he's still involved with Trek XI, Berman says he's supposedly not going to do another Trek series. Basically this comes on the heels of Braga making a similar statement.
Took you long enough, after the damage was already done, fucker!

Hey now, B&B aren't that bad. After all, they did a good job with the Borg.

They screwed the Borg into the ground, from what I saw.

They basically took the most fearsome enemy ever introduced in Trek, and made them a running joke that got pwned by one mediocre Federation starship. Sorry Walper, but I am forced to disagree.
But not just the Borg. They also took the Klingons (who were rather cool in TOS and TUC), and turned them into a joke. A race that drops its distruptors to fight with ungainly swords, and has an Al Qaeda mentality. Sounds harsh? I dunno. Every time I see the Klingons mouthing off about "dying with honor", I am reminded of a suicide bomber, or some inhuman fucker like Zarqawi. The Klingons have the same damn mindset, and it sickens me.

Well, we're entitled to our opinions. Suffice to say I take the Borg as they are, rather what other people wanted them to be. It they came out just fine as far as I'm concerned.Ra wrote:*cough*V-ger*cough*
