After this, it looks like mostly character drama since the Cylons are mostly out of the picture. Or so it would seem, anyway. They're probably not happy about the rain of corpses coming out of the Resurrection Ship.
When Baltar's head Six got upset about the thousands of Cylon lives being lost, it seems like she's only worrying about the ones on the Resurrection Ship, as she never seemed to worry about the chrome toaster editions getting destroyed, as was probably the case on the asteroid raid, for instance. Galactica Boomer apparently was programmed to think of the Raiders as pets. It seems the human-form models only recognize other human-form models as really Cylon. But wouldn't it have been the old chrome toasters that rebelled in the first place?
Furthermore, while I had been wanted Baltar to listen less to the Six in his head and grow a set, doing so by hiding Gina is most likely not the way to go. Did he decide that he liked Gina's version of God better than Six's?
Dualla and Apollo: what's the deal? I know there was that scene in an episode way back when where they were sparring for some reason and Apollo knocked her down and there was supposed to be vague sexual tension or something. But that's it, and she's supposed to be dating Billy. In today's, she was calling for him for a very long time and then eavesdropping on Starbuck and his conversation.
Well, there went the Blackbird. But we still have Pegasus.
While I'm here, if there's going to be character drama for a while, maybe they'll start having problems with food as well. They have to be running low on food reserves by now, and it takes a while to make more. Those 49,000-odd people (we'll see how many died in their attack on the Cylons next week) still have to eat.

It's interesting that Boomer suggest that the Cyclons don't think we should survive, that we're to petty, to mean, to small minded. However one should note the Cyclons own behavior upon taking over, specially the rape camps, one could ask why the Cyclons think they're in a position to morally judge who should live or die?

Excellent episode. At the start, with Adama in the water, the sounds reminded me of 2001: A Space Oddessy, and I knew instantly what would happen to him. Excellent usage of more than just pictures there, however, IMO they could have cut that scene entirely with no damage.
The battle was awesome, and those battlestars kicked ass. I loved seeing the Cylon's bodies fly out as the Vipers ran past the ressuriction ship.
I loved the acting once again. Everyone did an amazing job, and I must say that Michelle Forbes really shined here. Looking into her eyes throughout the entire episode, she didn't seem so bad. I don't think I could have pulled the trigger if it was me.
Her looking down the barrel of Six's gun, you could see her start to tear up... I wouldn't have been able to kill her.
One other thing: I hope we get to keep the Pegasus for a while. It is an awesoem ship.

I loved this episode. The moment the assassinations were about to happen - and then don't - holy shit, was that tense. Fisk's (the XO for those who don't remember) reaction afterwards was remarkable too. And before that, Fisk and Starbuck passing each other, and Cain's peptalk (unwittingly encouraging Starbuck to kill her when the time came), wow. That was eerie.
Battlestars pwn j00. Seeing the Galactica and Pegasus going full out on those Basestars was awesome, for the moments we saw. I especially loved how guns and missiles were spewing out from Pegasus' hangar pods. Oh, and BTW, Galactica's main batteries still rock, just like they did in the miniseries. And the sideways flying of the Vipers, tearing up the resi ship, truly awesome.
Lee's stuff floating through space and the lake were wierd, almost 2001-ish, as Adam said. The sudden cut to the battle was unexpected, as was the lack of hordes of Raiders and the fact that there was no Homeworldesque battle music.
Adama kissing Roslin - a little unexpected, I must confess. Ya there's been some close stuff between him and her, but I honestly expected Adama to be too old for romancing and shit.
Dualla - What the fuck? She and Lee have a brief little accident awhile back, and now she's acting like this? Gah, get a grip. I think her head got too injured when that console blew up in her face.
Gina was cool, and I'm very glad to see Baltar finally give a frack for somebody. As for this Wrath of Gawd stuff, I'm thinking, the Colonials killed 10,000 'lons. How many did Colonials did they kill from the get go? Many billions? Ya, something like that. The Colonials have themselves done some evil shit *cough*Lt Thorne*cough*, but if their "god" is pissed over 10,000 deaths and couldn't give a shit about the genocide, then he's got issues. But then again, my pet theory has always been that the Cylon god is actually Lucifer or something.
Forbes was excellent, even up to the last breath of her character. And Starbuck's defiance at her funeral proves, as if there was any doubt left, that she kicks ass.
Four vipers out of five.
