Force Sub: Clonies at Endor
#1 Force Sub: Clonies at Endor
Related to Walper's thread, I was wondering how Yoda's clone army that fought at Kashyyk could have done against the Ewoks? These guys did fight well, they used camo, and they didn't fire from the hip. The disadvantage is that most of them had light scout armor (similar, in fact, to the Scoutrooper armor used in ROTJ), rather than the heavier armor of regular Clonetroopers and Stormtroopers. I daresay the camo and superior tactics turn this into an Imperial victory. What say you all?

Well, I reviewed my ROTS DVD, and they have the camo, and most of them appeared to be shooting in a far more practical manner.
However, they were still charging the enemy head on, and one of the failings of the original troopers at Endor was spreading themselves out so thinly.
So I can't say they would immediately be given a victory, although they do seem to have heavier and more numerous attack vehicles available.

The clonetroopers would definitely have the edge in firepower. While that charge sucked, I blame it on the Wookiees; they departed prepared positions and charged forwards. The clonetroopers would've been shooting their allies in the back had they remained where they were, so they had to follow suit.
Plus, I don't think that tree trap would've done much against a Juggernaut... it helps to be wheeled with heavy armour.

Given that the heavier armor did not aid the Stormtroopers at all (Ewoks seemed to be very skilled at finding the chinks in armor) I would have to say the lighter armor of the clones wouldn't hurt them all that much.
