Now you are grasping at straws.

Are we and our demon-logic interfering with your masturbation?

Seriously, why the hell would he do that? Why would he project a light from his encounter suit into a background? (and the beam wasnt noticable in the mist of the room...how?)

Why would we not notice the different direction it was coming from, with our sterio speakers? Why would Sinclair not notice? Why would he project lights to fool sinclair when his back was turned? How could the suit have done it when it was turned off?

I've read that the theory that the Vorlons didn't screw with the Centurai. I got to point out two little facts.

1: You only have telepaths if the Vorlons fucked with your specis.

2: The Centurai have telepaths.

The logical conlusion is that the Vorlons screwed with the Centurai.

Where does the 'only' part come from? The Vorlons fucked with the YR to get telepaths, I can't recall any mention of that being the only way to get telepaths. Does anyone know wether there's a statement either way by jms or on the show?
If the Centauri were tempered with one onders why they lack that particular modification, or why the were modified to see nothing at all.
@CT: we see a circle of light. We know what a Vorlon out of his encounter suit looks like, and that's not it. So HOWEVER he did it Kosh projected that circle. As for the audio, DID Kosh's voice come from a different direction? You yourself said we should've noticed if it did which indicates it came from the same source the whole time. I.e. the encounter suit.[/quote]

His encounter suit was on the other side of the room, and I have wonderful stereo speakers. The sound came from KOSH, not the encounter suit.

The room was fairly misty, it was not projected from the encounter suit, otherwise we would have seen interference with the beam of light. So either he was holding a flashlight back there, or he is capable of being slightly amorphous, and thus can shape himself to look like a circle of light. In fact, we know that they are amorphous, because vorlons can store themselves inside a human being. In fact, it hurts them when the vorlon leaves too quickly.

No evidence for naturally occouring telepaths.

That presumes evidence for the Vorlons having messed with every race that DOES have telepaths, or alternatively statements to that effect by jms/on the show.
I have no quarrel with either, but I don't recall anything to that effect.

I suggest you look up 'Appeal to Ignorance Fallacy' and the logical principle of 'Parsimony'.

Also, I would point out, that it would stand to reason that, seeing as the vorlons engineered the younger races to see them in certain ways, that they would have also engineered a sort of kill switch, to prevent them from seeing vorlons if they had dealings with shadows.

You know, I never thought about it that way. You may well be right.
Oh, and conceded, Nit.

I humbly ask that all of you laugh at me really hard. 'Energy' beings? What were they doing? Rotating on the spot at c?
The (presumed) fact that jms went with a SciFi cliche doesn't excuse my stupidity.
Oh, and CT: Kosh later stated that being seen by so many took a lot out of him so there must be an active component to the Vorlon's deception mechanism.

Maybe some, could have a telepathic component, it is shown that that takes energy that a body must produce. Doesnt mean he is incorporeal, in fact, it precludes the idea

CT, as they can't be energy they HAVE to be corporeal. Gaseous, liquid, whatever, they have to have a physical body.
What I wanted to get across was that I was flat out wrong about the energy being thing. The telepathy comment was in response to my former assumption that since the Vorlons had manipulated the YR to see them as angels Kosh didn't have to do jack shit to make that happen, which was apparently wrong.
