Hell does Wars even use Frag or do they just do energy blast?
1) Energy based.
2) EMP based(COmbat droids).
3) Bio/chem weapons.
The Empire is quite.. Cavalier about spreading fast-acting plagues or horrifically powerful neurotoxins with no coloration or smell. Having totally sealed armour allows this.
