Well, judging from my avatar/sig theme, you all shouldn't be surprised I'm doing this thread.
So, what's the best incarnation of the Power Rangers? And please, no "OMG THE POWER RANGERS ARE the SUX!!!" or anything. 'Tis a poll and a serious (well, sort of) discussion.
For my money it's the original: MMPR. The one that started it all. Although I here PRiS is good stuff, I wasn't around for most of the run so I can't really judge it.
What are your thoughts?
NOTE: Since I couldn't fit all of the incarnations into the poll I merged MMAR with MMPR and cut PRT. Nobody likes PRT anyway, right? :D

Turbo was.....bad.....
it really was bad.
My vote settles in on either In Space, or the new one SPD.
While the original will always hold a fond place in my heart (especially Lord Zedd as a main villan....), In Space had a darker and more adult themed Storyline (and the Ninja Turtles.....the Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles together, kicking ass, taking names...).,
Meanwhile, SPD (Space Patrol Delta) combines a excellent overall storyline with excellent characterizations (Anubis "Doggie" Kruger" and Kat Manx for instance), along with a impending sense of dread for the most part of the season.
eh, I'll toss my vote up for PR:SPD as it's current, and has done everything right that I've seen.
Honorable mention goes to Ninja Storm, for probably the most enjoyable set of villans ever. Lothor and Zergain.
Lothor, twice in the show, made fun of the Rangers, at the very end, even uttering the line "This is the most fun I've had all season!" Ahh..the Ninja Storm baddies sure knew when to ham it up...

To tell you the truth, I only watched in order to see the parts that had obviously been stolen from the original Japanese shows. By my criteria, the ones with the most stolen Japanese footage (there! Japanese writing on the "storefronts") and cheesiest effects (cardboard Tokyo go boom with lots of sparks!) would be the best.

Either original or Space. After that... just... ick. Tried watching SPD a bit back, it hurt my head, 'twas so atrocious...
