Discuss these episodes here.
They got a new Daedalus-class ship to "replace" the Prometheus; the Odyssey. From the unit patches, It's actually the USS Odyssey. Hope she doesn't end up like a ship on DS9 with the same name...

Odyssey looked like a nice enough craft, though. And I have to admit I'm warming up to the Daedalus class's design.
More tomorrow when I'm more awake...

That was a pretty good episode. I kept imagining an ATHF Doctor Weird "GENTLEMEN! I give you...CORN!" for the first part, though.
Poor Ba'al, he just cann't catch a break, can he?
Oh, yes... They weren't using P90s anymore! Mitchel even had a proper assault rifle!

SG1:
Okay, I'm pissed. They blew up the Prometheus, and I was sure it would have big ramifications for both shows for the next few weeks. Earth would only have one interstellar ship, they'd call Daedalus back, Atlantis is on its own, they'd have issues trusting Caldwell on Earth, and maybe towards the end of the season they have a new ship (they had been building more) at a critical point. But NOOOOOOO. The writers wanted their shiny new ship, so they blow up our first beloved brick with engines and turn around and there's a brand new one. Grrr.
On Ba'al: he's probably got so many clones running around that he can legitimately die in every episode without any trouble. The robes were nice, and it looks like he's going to keep the turtlenecks forever. I half expected him to make some snarky comment to the fatass about how he knows what cupcakes are.
Oh, and the scene where the bajillion Jaffa are running down the hall and getting slaughtered - did anyone think it was like some video game with a neverending-wave-of-bad-guys-to-fight scene? I was thinking, "Teal'c had to have leveled up in that scene." Where did Ba'al pick them up, anyway?
Cam wanted to kiss his gun at the end. You know he did.
SG:A
I like the throwaway jokes at the beginning of the episodes.
They're never going to live down that kiss. Never.
...that's all I've got.
