A archmage level mage(tradition can be any) vs a high level nova.
It is set in a horizon realm where paradox is of no consequence and allows the nova's powers to work as normal. There are no allies to assist in this battle, just their powers and abilities. Who wins?

Aberrant is sci-fi, Mage is Fantasy.. So whichever.
End result is, probably stalemate or Aberrant. A Nova can duplicate a Mage, really. The highest canon effects for both are the same.
The creation of a new, custom-tailored universe.

I agree with Nitram. They're both ridiculously powerful, but the Aberrant is likier to be able to react superhumanely fast and be ridiculously tough. Against an arch-mage that might not be enough, but it is an edge.
It's not that I'm unforgiving, it's that most of the people who wrong me are unrepentant assholes.
