#1 Which Star Trek alien you always want to be?

Alright, which one and why.

As for myself, I always want to be a Changeling (Founder). Why? Because shape-shifting looks cool. Imagine attending a Trek inter-species conference; while others just walk into the meeting room, I would morph from a pillow or such into my human form. 8-)

EDIT: No omnipotent beings, please! We're talking about 'normal' Trek races here. :P

A ROMULAN, DAMN IT!

Obviously, the Romulans are my favorite ST species (especially in TOS and DS9). They're devious, smug, have pointed ears, run around in bigass ships shaped like vultures, and unlike their logical cousins, can have sex more than once every seven years.

Also, one thing about the Romulans is that their culture always seemed deeper and more intriguing to me than, say, the Klingons. That, and their technology (disruptors, quantum singularity power, etc.) always fascinated me.

Bajorans. They're the only ones that made a goddess; Kira.

Ra, your obsession with pointy-eared creatures starts to frighten me... :P

Yup, the D'deridex Warbird is also my favorite (shape-wise).

IIRC even in that "once-every-seven-years" period they don't always succeed in getting laid.

SOVAL: "What is their fixation with our ears?!"
T'POL: "I believe they are envious..."

Anyway, I don't know what it is about me and pointy-eared creatures. I guess the Elf factor comes into play here. :?

Poor Tuvok comes to mind... 8-)

Yup. Too plain. However, I still love the D'dredar and R'derex.

This is what I don't understand about the Vulcan and their Porn... erk, Pon Far things. I mean, they're more advanced than us and still don't understand the concept of masturbation?

Since I've only seen the "canon" Romulan designs, you got any pics of those?

Precisely. I never saw it, but there was this Voyager ep where some dude called Vorik hits on Torres because of Pon Farr. She could have just handed him a bottle of lube and pointed him to the head.
Is there some kind of Vulcan stigma against jacking off?

"Every time you masturbate, Surak kills a Seylat."

D'dredar

R'derex

Romulan has cool ships. Before DS9, they're always my most favorite Trek alien solely because of the shape of their ship.

Mind you, Vorik even refused Holodek porn, for crying out loud!

By the way, I bet Robert haven't seen this thread. Nobody voted for the Borg yet....

I recognize the R'Derex. It's the tricobalt torpedo ship from Star Trek: Armada. The other looks cool, too. A sort of cruiser or destroyer counterpart to the D'Deridex.

I think we can write him off as a lost cause...

Yeah, this thread doens't feel right without the Borg Collective Specialist's two cents...

Ergh. I wouldn't want to be any of them. The Ferengi are the closest to matching my proclivities, but they're so horridly typecast.

Q without a seconds thought, if not then a Founder so as to be a member of a far more advanced species.

Not to mention that by becoming a Ferengi, consequentially you'll mate with a Ferengi female. :P

Well, if I was a Ferengi that would be what lights my fire... although it seems that the Ferengi do have a large interested in cross-special relations.

(And FUCK FUCK FUCK Star Trek writers for running the interspecies sexuality into the ground.)

Actually, my immediate thought was Q, not Borg. Borg is pretty far down my list, since the thought of living a drone's life is rather unappealing...regardless of how cool the Borg are. :P

said worm would give him multiple lifetimes worth of knowledge and experience to draw upon, opening up possibilities he never knew before exsisted.

As for me, well.......there's a couple different ones I wouldn't mind...
just can't decide, not enough coffee yet.

So would being a Q, plus you can toss planets around for the fun of it. ;)

The majority of Trill aren't joined anyway. They're picked for certain mental and physical characteristics that are favorable to the bonding. The rest might as well be humans with spots.

Q or Dowd. No, Ra's, you're NOT going to take over the world. Well maybe you are but I couldn't care less because it isn't THIS world anymore. Have fun in the Epsilon Eridani system.

When I have the choice to be near omnipotent/able to fake near omnipotence convincingly? I think not.
Besides, who'd want to be a TNG Klingon anyway?

TNG Klingon = Space Viking = t3h suxxor.

As for having a living worm inside me? Been there, done that, and bought the T-Shirt.

Anyway, KAN, perhaps you should clarify the OP to exclude the godlike races. After all, being a Q would be the given answer.

Hey, I don't mind being a Klingon as long as their females are all as lusty as B'Ellana Torres. Remember the VOY Pon Far episode?

Wait, thought YOU are the worm instead of the Egyptian boy, :P

Fixed.
